Re: Does EPR truly lower Central Apnea?

Most adults would feel air starved with a setting of 4. If I were you I would raise the pressure to 7 and see what happens.

I have gotten 0.0 quite a few times. You probably have just been sleeping very well for those three days. It happens. :)

Re: CPAP during COVID infection

I used my pap machine every night when I had covid. I believe it helped me get better faster. I would not wait at all, just use it starting tonight.

Re: Mouth Tape That Actually Stays Put!?

Here's the tape I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJGYF67/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It goes on easily, can be peeled off very easily, and re-applied. I actually use the same piece for numerous days. I cut a piece way wider than my mouth and almost never have any leaks...

Re: Bleep Eclipse at Aeroflow

Ha! I bet there are lots of us who the pediatric rings would fit, but probably not enough to make it feasible for Stuart to make the smaller ones too. Maybe he'll do it in a few years. At least we have two kinds of Bleeps. I would HATE to go back to any of the other offerings. May Stuart live long a...

Re: Please review my OSCAR data

Others will likely come along with more advice, but I see one thing that might help. You Have EPR set for ramp only, but you are not using ramp (which is a good thing.) You want to set EPR at 3 for full time. This will probably make you more comfortable and may decrease your flow limits as well.

Re: Bleep Eclipse at Aeroflow

I got my Eclipse order from Aeroflow back in January. I wanted so much to like them, but after struggling with them for a while, I gave up and went back to the original Bleep Dreamports, and have been much happier. On me, the halos stuck out too far from my nostrils, and I could not get a good seal,...

Re: chinstrap shifts out of place

You might like to try this tape: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJGYF67/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 It is very different from other tapes. It sticks well, but once it's on I don't feel it at all. It is easily removed. It can be put back on and removed many times. I can use t...

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape

I need to tape so that no air (or as little as possible) escapes. The 2" wide Medvance tape works well for me. I don't mouth breath during the day, and at night a little air leaks out if I don't tape. It looks weird on my face but I really don't notice it once I have it in place.

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape

I started with the 1" Medvance, but It was too narrow. I switched to the 2" and it works a lot better for me. To avoid leaking I like to cut the piece 4 or 5 inches long. It is pricey but I get several days out of each piece. Also, the 2" tape is a little thicker, which I like. Maybe that is why I h...

Re: Adhesive rests on lips

You could also switch to another tape. This is what I use:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJ ... UTF8&psc=1

It leaves no residue at all. It can be removed and replaced. I use the same piece for a number of days.

Re: Invented an apnea tongue displacement device. It works for me.

Xyliments are a round pill shaped tablet that you would normally press against your gum: it will stick there to help prevent dry mouth. I imagine you could put one or maybe two under your tongue to see if it does the job you want done. Best of luck with whatever you try! :)

Re: Deionized water vs distilled water

I think any water will work fine for our therapy. I used tap water for a long time but got tired of having to clean the crud left in the tank by our extremely hard water, and now I'm using distilled water. No build-up at all. Yay!

Re: Bleep Eclipse...so far

I used the regular Bleep for a couple of happy years and was really excited to try the Halo version. But I find it uncomfortable. I think I must be narrow across my nostrils because the metal rings stick out beyond my nostrils. Then when I try to get the tape to go in against the outside of my nose,...
