I've been doing it for years, it's helped me tremendously! I can't live without it and I can't sleep without doing it before bed.
If you don't even know what it is, I suggest you read:

Just curious.... How many of you practice Jala Neti?
Although this does help me, I rarely do it because it bothers my eustachian tubes. One time I had an earache for two days. Not bad, but bothersome. The instructions that came with mine stated that sometimes happens, depending on the location of the tube's exit, and if it continues to happen, I'm probably a person that can't use it.

I jala neti, WaterPic style. It adds all of about 2 minutes to the nightly ritual. (a minute to make ~2N saline in a plastic quart dispenser, another minute to crank it through the WaterPic and all the right places). Less time than brushing my teeth. And worth it.

Ditto on Mr. WaterPik
There are many forms of neti pot out there, but I have to agree with Ric, that the grossan irrigator is the easiest, quickest, most effective way to go. I've been living with sinusitis for 20 years and would not have survived without my little water pik and lots of saline. I always add another ingredient when I have it though, Alkalol. It's a gentle homeopathic that helps degunk the sinus complex---just don't use too much.
