Hi all,
So I have completed day 10 on APAP, and each night I am adjusting my pressures to find the right range for me according to the data I am seeing.
The problem is, is that I can't seem to find any range. For a night that seems to have gone really well...where my AHI was down to 5, and where I had no apneas for two of the pressures it went to (14 and 15)...I set the range up to be at those pressures (13.5-15.5) and then my AHI jumped up to 8.
It almost seems as though for me there is no correlation between AHI and pressure...is that possible?
Should I let the machine run at a broader range?
Right now its set up for 7-15. I have found that anything higher than 16 I am doing all I can to keep the mask from blowing my face off...
Cheers!

Josh,
You sound like me in the beginning.
The highger I set my pressure I would have events at the higher pressure.
Looking at my Encore Pro Analyzer Pressure chart. I see how the higher I set the low pressure the higher pressure I would have events.
I lowered my pressure and now I am having events at the lower pressures.
I think leaks is the worse for having events.
Without actuallyt seeing you chart, I would suggest you lower your min pressure to just where events start. The higher pressure to just above the 90% pressure.
What was the pressure when the AHI was 5?
From what I read, changing the pressure everyday does not help.

How often are you making changes? I find that when I make a change, I have to sit with that change for at least a week (if not 2) in order to let things settle down.

I think that be your problem ... changing settings on a daily basis results in chasing a trail of numbers that will just gets you lost. Be patient and collect data a week or two at a time before making changes.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
You have to give your body time to adjust every time you change something, no matter how small. When you make a change just change one thing at a time and don't change anything else for at least a week.
