Hi All I have had sleep apnea for six years and have used my CPAP for about one year. I have a problem with swelling ,my face in the morning looks like a blowfish, the doctors can not give me a reason why.
In the past eight months i have swelling in the legs the doctors tell me this could be caused by the apnea? I will be spending Fri Nov 5th in the hospital for a check. I have also managed to remove my mask in my sleep?
Any help or suggestions with this would be great.
Thanks Vavi

Hi Vavi,
Welcome to cpaptalk.com. We are very proud to have had the growth and interaction that we have seen in the last month. Thank you for joining in!!!
When I first started, I too used to pull my mask off in my sleep. I then bought a chinstrap and threaded it through my headgear, making it more difficult to get off in my sleep.
It seemed to work for me. Anyone else have any ideas?
Best Wishes and have an uneventful night at the hospital.
Regards,
Ted the Titrator
