Things are going pretty well here. It's a bummer we couldn't have gotten together when you where down here. Most exciting thing going on here has been me getting a new mask a few days ago (Still loving the NAII, just needed a spare since it was time for my 6 month replacement), and getting new glass...

Allergy season hasn't seemed to hit here yet. I'm not looking forward to it when it does. I feel for all you who are already suffering. Babs I hope you figure out what is causing the pain, it would drive me batty, but I think I would agree with you that it would be better than being all stuffed up. ...

I think he is referring to the actual power supply that plugs into the humidifier, I was wondering myself if it just used the power supply that comes with the M series xPAP or if it had a new power supply that replaced it and it's half of the block, if you know what I mean.

I wear a bracelet that includes my allergies and conditions including OSA and SEE WALLET CARD because I was told by a paramedic friend that they aren't allowed to go through your stuff and look in your wallet unless you've given permission to do so, and putting instructions on the bracelet lets them...

W T G slinky! I'm so glad you made it through the night. About the Sleep Tech training, I asked here at Kaiser in Oregon from what the RRT I deal with says is all in house training (Probabably have to take the BRPT's certification tests after the in house training), and to become a RT it's a two yea...

Hey Christy! Good to hear from you! Hope things are going well! I have that arm issue, too. Especially now when it's so cold!!! My biggest fidgeting right now is getting burrowed down sufficiently in my covers to make me happy, and still finding a way to vent without it either being blocked by the ...

Joyce yeah that's what I've heard about the DMEs loaning it out. Not sure if you need a Dr. request or not. But I'd definitely try it. I know Kaiser's in house DME does loan them with a Dr. request. I noticed months ago that I breathed completely differently between when I put on my mask and when I ...

Joyce, perhaps you can request a take home Pulse-Oxy meter, maybe you really do still need O2 with your CPAP. It'd be better on the air on the safe side than, and have it checked if possible. I've been having the same problems as you waking up feeling smothered. I had another sleep study done in Dec...

Slinky I'm sorry things didn't go well at your PSG. Beating yourself up over what is done wont help anymore, so hopefully you've cooled down enough after a nights sleep back in your own bed. But that Sleep Doc needs to be whipped with a wet noodle... Anyway only other thing I have to add is some mor...

Babs I'd love a fix for that too, but I could care less about it blowing on my hubby, I sleep with my arm up and it blows on my arm. I hate being woke up because the blanket got pulled off my arm and the exhaust is blowing on my arm.

3isles I use a Auto BiPAP with Bi-Flex and after finding the right mask for me I sleep quiet well with it. I don't find that it rushes my breathing and forces me to take breaths. And my machine is rather quiet, though I've heard that can be a crap shoot on getting one that is. I've never used straig...
