Re: "OT" I wrecked my motorcycle Yesterday
Happy to hear you were not permanently laid up!! I ride a bagger myself and highly reccommend you pay a little extra on the new scoot for the Brembo anti-locks. I have them on my bike and I know they saved my butt one time from a serious problem. I have been into the anti-locks four times (two times...

Thanks nan, great idea!! I feel kinda stupid I had not thought about that. I am new to this if that bails me out!! This same idea will make getting ready for bed easier too, I can put my mask on at the mirror and then hook up the hose in bed. thanks again and have a wonderful, restful holiday mowdoc

Re: Newbie
I am very new to CPAP myself. Last night was my third. I work very early so I am up at 3:00am every day. Getting to bed at night is very hard to do at a reasonable time. My first night on CPAP was 6.4 hours and my best. The second night was 6.5 hours and almost as good. Last night was only 5.5 hours...

Re: serious scary question
I know I am going to mispell "Ameba" (sounds like AH-ME-BA). This is an organism that lives in warm water and can possibly enter your body, usually your nose while swimming. These things have been around always, but seldom does anyone get sick from them. It makes the news when it does happen so that...

Re: Newbie still has Apnea with mask on
I am not going to be much help to you but I can say you are not alone. I am new to CPAP myself with only three nights on my machine but I find myself stopping breathing too. Its like I just stop breathing and this happens if I am on or off the machine?? I can see improvement in my AHI numbers and I ...

QUICK S9 QUESTION
Does the S9 CPAP restart a new day on the data log if you stop it during the night for 15 - 20 minutes and then restart it??
I often get up in the middle of the night and stay up a few minutes then go back to bed. Should I stop my S9 or leave it running while I am up??
Thanks

Re: Where A CPAP Newbie Should Start
This is my first post on this forum, all though, I am not new to forums. I have been reading this forum for about a month since I learned I was joining the "hose head" group. I was tested for sleep apnea because I have Afib and can't hold sinus tythem for more than a week following the cardioversion...
