Re: 42 days on CPAP and feeling great!
Now, establish feedback!!! Those changes and the changes life simply brings can change how your CPAP is working for you. If you have feedback (are reading your machine's data into a computer program to see how your nights are actually going) then you will catch this before it makes you so foggy you...

42 days on CPAP and feeling great!
I started on my CPAP on July 2. I've used it every day except one since at an average of 8 hours a day. The only day I didn't use it I was spending the night at a Relay for Life event. I am really starting to feel great. No more morning headaches Went from going to pee 3-6 times a night to once a ni...

Re: What do you do with long hair and CPAP?
Thanks for the replies. While very cool, I don't think either the Kufi or Buff would work for me because my head sweats before anything else and I think it would get too hot. May have to stick to ponytail.

What do you do with long hair and CPAP?
I have long hair and find that I need to pull it up in a ponytail on the top of my head in order to deal with the CPAP straps. I tried without putting the hair up and it slipped and slided. What do you other ladies do with your long hair?

Has anyone used Provent?
I saw this on American Sleep Apnea Association. Just wonder how good it might be in situations where you have no electricity, or during travel, or maybe during a nap?

Re: Pilairo!
Pugsy I've been using neosporin, I'll go back to the lanolin (that is what I use before putting the Pilaro on). My nose is getting better, didn't hurt last night. I just might get through this.

Re: Pilairo!
HELP! Let me first say I've been on CPAP for 1 month. I started with a Comfort Gel (small) mask. I felt it was still too big. Got the Pilaro a couple of weeks ago and was pretty happy with it. Didn't think it was too tight at the time. But for the last few days I've been developing sores in my nose ...

Re: Pilairo!
We had Relay for Life this weekend. Went in Friday to start setting up at 8am. Stayed all night....slept about 2.5 hours inside of sleeping bad sitting up in webbed chair (zero gravity) so think if I had apneas they were few. BTW, walked 48 laps or 12 miles. Got home about Noon and took 2 hour nap w...

Re: Pilairo!
I'm into 25 days on CPAP and feeling much better. I got my Pilairo Monday and started using it. I had started with one of those plastic nasal masks. I love the Pilairo, so comfortable. It's just the right size. I do wake with a bit of soreness in especially my right nostril, but it soon goes away. I...

Re: Pilairo!
After Suz's experience, I wonder if this mask doesn't do as well on lower pressures. For her, it didn't fully inflate, and thus bumped her nose, but the same lack of inflation could feel like not getting enough air. TiredTooLong, what is your usual pressure setting? We'll have to see if that turns ...

Re: Pilairo!
Last night was my first night with the Pilaro. Stats were basically the same: AHI-.4, Leak - 20. Not sure why the leak is 20, thought it would be lower. The strap fits fine. My nostrils are quite small, but it felt quite comfortable. This is the first time I didn't get up during the night to go pee....

Re: pain!
I'm about 17 days into the CPAP. Feel a lot better. I haven't noticed any additional pain...but maybe that's because I have fibromyalgia and take 4 ibuprophen before going to bed. I do turn over so do move about a bit.
