Problem with Sleepy Head or Cpap machine?
What gives? After SH taking longer than normal to download from the card this morning to a spreadsheet that I use to track changes in AHI over time I discovered that, except for nights with zero AHI, ALL of the AHI values in SH back to and including 12 Dec 13 were doubled and those prior to 12 Dec 1...

Re: Leg cramps
Have had recurrent Charley Horse style cramps in my calves since I was a teenager and have sometimes assumed that in the end I'd probably die due to a heart attack associated with waking up in a full panic from the pain. Exercise helps, a Banana helps, 800 mg of Magnesium helps, Magnesium L-Threonat...

Re: Why wont Sleepy Head show me my graphs?
That is the screen shot you've shown is the first step. The second step is to double click on the day you wish view on the drop down Calendar displayed (say the 25th), when you do this if the software is working properly the drop down Calendar disappears and your left with the data for the 25th. If ...

Re: Is it posible to become dependent on CPAP?
The Sleep Tech was good and he told me that +30 was severe, the Doc was a no show (sleeping?). Had the decimal points in the wrong places earlier, actually my treated AHI has dropped from .55 to .35 with weight loss. Regarding weight gain caused by Apnea vs. Apnea caused by weight gain, to me it sou...

Re: Is it posible to become dependent on CPAP?
To help here are some answers to help put the Topic in context and answer some of the honest questions raised. My Doc wants me off CPAP because happily is one of those who is an advocate of minimal intervention. Sleep Lab result was +30 AHI baseline. Anatomically normal Inhalation requires muscular ...

Is it posible to become dependent on CPAP?
Ideally my Doc would like to see me off all my Meds including CPAP, but I wonder if we can become artificially dependent on this therapy. The assumption around here is that CPAP is forever, but I wonder if we can, over time, we loss an ability we once had simply through lack of use.

Re: Why wont Sleepy Head show me my graphs?
If I leave my card in my computer and insert it in the machine long enough to download I only get a data summary AHI, Leak, Snore........ If I leave my card in the machine and insert it in the computer only to to down load date I get all the above Plus all of the graphs. So my card now resides in th...
