Re: OT. How much would you pay to treat 16-year-old cat?
My dear cat just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She is losing weight, always begging for food, drinking excessive water and lots of litterbox clumps. The vet said she also has some kidney problems, possibly related to too much thyroid or a separate problem. The standard treatment is radioactive io...

Just keep trying different masks until you get one that works. Everyone and every fit is different.
My beard is presently about 3-4 inches long with no problems using Quattro Air.
I wouldn't be ready to shave my beard if I were you. I'm sure you will find a solution.

Re: Resmed S9 Autoset pulsing and disturbing my sleep
Vader, Some people are bothered by the PP's the System Ones send out to distinguish between OAs and CAs. The older Remstar machines did not try to distinguish between OAs and CAs and did not have the PP algorithm. That's what I figured. Are you aware of any solution to the problem, other than using...

Re: Resmed S9 Autoset pulsing and disturbing my sleep
I was just diagnosed with OSA back in the summer and am still trying to get things right. At first, I borrowed a machine (Remstar cpap)from a friend who wasn't using it. It worked great I hadn't felt this good in quite a while. Once my deductible was met from other things, my dr prescribed and sold...

Re: Who is reviving old threads and why???
I am a newbie and have filled in a few polls because I saw them near the top and never looked at the date or assumed someone had questions and wanted to renew the subject. I don't see the concern if the polls are still open. Is it not ok to respond to an old post that comes up in a search for parti...

Re: Feedback from men with beards Re: best facemask
I've been getting excellent results with the Quattro Air, and have had no problems with my beard.
Among the ffm's that I've used are the Ultra Mirage, Mirage Quattro, Quattro FX, and Quattro Air.
Although they all work for me, I think the Quattro Air is definitely the best. YMMV

One from 2006! What's going on??? If you notice, at least half of these are revived by spammers. The other half may perhaps be revived by bored individuals, or perhaps not. I don't really see any big harm in it though. It probably gives newbies a chance to participate in a non intimidating way, who...

Re: Quattro Air
Has anyone used the new Quattro Air Full Face mask ? I have used the Quattro Air for 3 months and I love it. Some people have reported issues with the mask, particularly that it can seem a tad bit smaller in sizing than than the Mirage Quattro. I have not had any issues whatsover, and I take a medi...
