Re: OT: Coffee maker selections, which to choose?
I use the Cuisinart DCC-2650, which is an awesome coffee maker. It's a little pricey, but I say worth every penny. It's far superior to Cuisinart's cheaper (under $99) models. If you're going to grind your own beans, don't waste your money on those cheap $20 grinders. They overheat the beans and rui...

Re: Full Face Mask Suggestion
I just found out my DME provider doesn't carry ResMed masks anymore due to poor insurance coverage. They are only carrying Respironics. The respiratory therapist said there is a full face mask that they have that is "like the Quattro (which is what I use now) but easier". Does anyone have any idea ...

I don't use oxygen (port) for my therapy either, but that is correct.squid13 wrote:I would imagine it's where you would put your oxygen tube if you were using oxygen.

Re: best painkillers to use with sleep apnea?
To be clear, "Oxycontin" does NOT contain Tylenol, but Percocet, and Endocet DO contain Tylenol.
So it depends on which formulation of oxycodone that you have been prescribed, as to whether it contains Tylenol.

Re: best painkillers to use with sleep apnea?
The drugs that you mentioned shouldn't pose a problem in the short term, however keep an eye on your acetaminophen dosage because too much can cause problems, and the Oxy most likely has acetaminophen (sp.?) in it. I've taken Oxycodone for neck and spine, and it's not something you want to stay on l...

Finally! Someone other than myself has experienced the "lower lip fallout syndrome" with this mask! This has not happened to me, although I can understand the possibility of it happening depending on your mask size.(particularly if you're "in-between" sizes) I think the reason for this may be due t...

Re: Mask with no neck strap?
The NEW Quattro Air has a greatly improved headgear. I have no pressure on my old arthritic neck at all! Much improved over the Mirage Quattro and highly recommended for neck issues. Hello, I am on a Resmed S9 Autoset with humidifier and have a fullface Mirage Quattro mask. I have a fleece for the n...
