My, how things have changed...

Post by jzap » Sat Sep 29, 2012 9:52 pm

I started CPAP last month...

Before CPAP, my wife would nudge me in the middle of the night, and say, "You're Snoring!!!"

Last night, my wife nudged me in the middle of the night, and said, "You're Leaking!!!"

Hopefully she doesn't have to do that too often. I'm betting she'd still prefer the occasional leak to chronic snoring. Hope otherwise your treatment is going well.

Thankfully, she doesn't have to do it too often. At first she said that the biggest adjustment for was the lack of snoring.

The treatment is going pretty well. I had to bump my pressure .5, and my AHI is coming down to the 5 range. Before the bump, it was in the 17-19 range.

Thank you.

.
During my first week my daughter came home from a party at 3 am and tore into my room and shook me awake. She didn't hear me snoring and thought I had died or something. I wasn't being her "mama bear" for the first time in her life.

Good news.... better you leak from your mask than other parts of your body !! I recogmend that you be real sensitive to your body and how your body reacts to the little changes you make to your therapy. I have gotten my AHI down to a .3, but I find that the little "tweaks" in pressure or leak control will make me feel better. That's what the "sweet spot" is.
