No longer getting E-Mail notification of New Posts

Starting about 4 days ago, I am no longer getting E-Mail Notification of New Posts in threads I have subscribed to.

I initially thought it was just a problem on my end.
But, I have gone through all of my settings in great detail, and I believe they are all properly set.

Is anyone else who subscribes to threads NOT getting E-Mail notification of new posts in those threads?

Same here, I have not received any e-mail notification for my post.

Humm, I did receive a topic reply notifications both yesterday and today for a posts. Are you talking about the posts to subscribed threads or for PM messages received? Could it possibly be considered as spam by your email host or client?

Yes, BOTH posts to subscribed threads and PM messages received.

They are NOT being sent to my spam folder either.

Is there not a way to report this to the Site Administrator?

Since at least 2 of us are having that problem, I assume others are also.

Some may not even realize it until it happens long enough where they know they should have received notifications.

Because I was hoping I could figure it out on my own & also the 4th of July Holiday, I got around to doing that just today (Saturday 7-6-13).

Will update this thread when I get a response & hopefully a fix for my problem.

I got this reply from Carolyn Goodman to my PM message to her describing my problem.

Howdy,

Your email notification was actually bounced in our error log, showing that it failed to get through. Can you try adding cpap@cpaptalk.com to your address book?

I did as instructed, but it did NOT clear up my problem.
I reported that back to Carolyn Goodman by PM & am awaiting further instructions.

Goodness. Who would want to get email notices? I have them programmed to the Junk Mail folder.

If there is something I want to follow up on, it is much easier to go to the Mamage Subscriptions page and only look at what you want to see. The rest you ignore and there is no mess of notifications in your email In Box.

Plus, it takes you directly to the new post(s) & you do NOT have to wade through posts you have already read just to determine where the new posts start.

If you haven't done so already, you may want to consider sending a PM to Carolyn Goodman telling her you are also having the same problem.

I am assuming she would want to know it is not just me.

If you click on the tiny red white and blue square on the left it takes you to the first unread post.

This is what I have done for years. I turned off the email notification system a long time ago. I was spending more time responding to the email alerts and doing those things than it took me to just click on the "unread" tiny box and do the unread posts that way.
