OT: JohnBFisher ain't the only one with a new hobby!

Post by tattooyu » Tue Jan 28, 2014 5:27 pm

So... it turns out... I can draw and paint!

I used to doodle as a kid/teen, but I just recently tried drawing and painting. The lemon was my first ever watercolor.

Good for you! It's great to have a hobby that can keep you entertained and striving toward better things! And as much as we might like work, it's great to have something that's not work. It gives us greater depth of personality. It gives us a way to "play" .. and forget the cares of the world. And it gives us a way to see the world in a whole new light.

Keep up the good work!

Wow, you are quite talented! Funny that you didn't realize early on that you are more than a doodler. (Is that a word?) Hope it's as therapeutic for you as it is for John. And once again, we get to reap the benefits.

Very good.
I got some books on water colour this Christmas and I am going to try it. It always intimidated me before but I am getting desperate to express my self and I can't get into my sewing studio.

Thanks, guys! Watercolor is fun, but it is slightly unpredictable. If you want a see someone amazing, search for a Kelly Eddington on YouTube.

That's one of the neatest things about life. At just about any age you can suddenly surprise yourself and realize, "Hey, I can do this!" And who knows? Maybe somebody else will like it too.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
