Resolved. ResMed AirMini from France????
Update ResMed US responded to a Facebook Messenger chat and confirmed they sold and shipped the unit with my serial number. Still not sure why my unit has the French distributor on the label, but I didn’t want this post to falsely alarm anyone looking to buy from Lofta. They are legit and have amazi...

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE
Hi All, I just organized my extra CPAP supplies after receiving my first order for the year, and I have some extra pillows that I am never going to use. Not sure why I held on to them this long. These are all from the three replacement full masks I have received over the last 18 months (I get a new ...

Re: to whom uses PR Sytem One Machine & Resmed Swift Fx together
Hi, I have a PR System 1 auto, and a Swift FX using the med pillow. There have been a few posts on this. Most are using a setting for a similar PR nasil pillow mask. When I experimented with this I emailed PR through their web site, as others have, to try to get PR to tell me what the setting should...

Re: Quality of Patient Detailed Data on System One vs S9
Just re-read your original post, if you are speaking about the information available without software, I think the S9 has a significant edge as it will show you nightly AHI data on the screen, where the System One only shows you average AHI values on the built in screen.

Re: Quality of Patient Detailed Data on System One vs S9
Hi, I think it really comes down to what you are used to. I have only had the PR System One and Encore Pro 2.2. I really like the format of the reports, particularly the way Encore Pro presents the nightly waveform view of every breath I took the night before if I want to get to that level of detail...

Re: Three days post surgery - bad congestion
Well I was bad, I could not stand the thought of not being able to breath, and I have not gotten much sleep the last few nights, so half as a test I used the Afrin again. 30 minutes later I am breathing great. From totally clogged up, to totally clear. Unfortunately, as good as it is right now, I kn...

Three days post surgery - bad congestion
Hi Forum, I had my surgery Tuesday, septoplasty. Concha bullosa resection, and Turbinate out fracture (break the Turbinate bones outward to make more room), not turbinate reduction as I had thought originally. I had no packing and no splints, so my nose was wide open at first. Immediately after surg...

Re: Swift FX pillow quality question
Hi, I looked at both packages, and both say the same. If I am reading it right, the headgear is made in Australia, the rest is made in China for both my original and the new set. Here are pics of the original and new packages: Original package: http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff283/skier757/origi...

Re: Swift FX pillow quality question
Hi forum, I just posted some pics of my old and new Swift FX hoses and pillows in a new thread. I have seen a change in the pillows and the hose. I am not sure if it is a wear issue, or a change in the product. From my nearly four months of experience with the Swift FX I think the headgear should la...

Swift FX, pics of new and old changes with new repl
Hi forum, I received a new Swift FX after three months of use of my first one. At the time I changed over I had been having more leaking, but I was also not sleeping as well and moving around a lot at night which I thought was the problem. However when I first cleaned my new pillows and short hose, ...

Hi Forum, Day one, and I am doing great. I did have an adventure at the ER last night, I put up a separate post on that. 'How to go in for sinus surgery, and come out with crutches' With regard to my surgery, I am doing great. I have no pain at all. I only took two Tylenol this morning. My bleeding ...

OT-How to go in for sinus surgery and come out with Crutches
How to go in for Sinus surgery and come out with Crutches. Yesterday I went in for outpatient sinus surgery. I had a septoplasty with right endoscopic concha bullosa resection, and bi-lateral outer fracture turbinates. After the first time when asked about my procedure the nurses and I ended up sayi...

Re: Home already - Surgery this morning, 6/22/2010
Hi Forum, I am home now. I have to say things went GREAT. I was very lucky with my surgeon, he does not use packing or splints. I'll share my experience for those who are thinking of this surgery. Background: I have had trouble breathing though my nose for as long as I can remember. After several ye...

Hi forum, I am leaving for my surgery in a few minutes. Having outpatient surgery to correct my septum, a concha bullosa, and turbanate reduction. While I was waiting to leave I came here to read a bit for comfort, you are all like a big family now. I'll post again tonight when I am home and let you...

Surgery next Tuesday - Re: septoplasty and turbinate surgery
Hi all, I am having surgery Tuesday, 6/22. I am having a septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and correction of a C.B. cell (concha bullosa). I am hopeful that I will both see an improvement in daily breathing, and better CPAP results. Currently any congestion at all and my numbers go up. I see my AHI ...
