Re: Want To Replace Mirage Quattro
I went from the Quattro wrenched down to stop leaks. I'm using a Fisher Paykel flexifit. Its much more comfortable but I still have some leak issues.

Re: New Resmed S9 Skin Covers
There are tons of choices and there is no extra charge for a custom one made from your own photo. I cant wait to dress my machine with my grand daughter!

Re: Do any of you sleep all the way through the night?
I was waking up worried that the machine was off or with every little leak as I moved. I started telling myself as I got into bed that I wasn't going to wake up because of those things, and I don't anymore.

Re: Do any of you sleep all the way through the night?
I had worked my way down to waking up once a night before CPAP, now I sleep through the night 3 or 4 nights a week. Its heaven.

2 month visit
I went for my first visit after getting the machine yesterday. Apparently not a lot of people adjust as well as I did, and I have all of you to thank. My PA was beside herself with glee at my compliance (100%) and low AHI (1.4 from 45) and was halfway done explaining what all the data meant when I t...

Re: New Machine
I've seen some amazing machines on craigslist. There was just an s8 escape II with a humidifier for $200 and the escape, used once for $175. I really don't think I will bother going thru my insurance next time since I have a $500 deductible anyway. The number of people who get machines and don't use...

Re: newbie nervousness
Sl33py welcome to the club, you're going to love it here. I am going to let the pros handle the other stuff and respond to your waking and wondering if the machine is on etc. I did the same thing for the first week or so. One night I told myself I wasn't going to wake up thinking the machine wasn't ...

Re: hours
No its not possible to have your cpap on too much. If you are asleep for 7 or 8 or 10 hours, or 10 minutes it should be on.

Re: Anyone have advice for lung irritation from pressure?
I had some muscular pain in my upper chest and back when starting with CPAP. In my case, the muscles werent used to working so hard and were sore. Check with your doctor to confirm why youre having so much discomfort.

Re: sleep apnea from worm infection?
I had worms, got them from cleaning monkey cages then sharing fruit with them without washing my hands. Bad idea really, there's lots of diseases I could have given the monkeys. If I had worms that effected my brain, I would be worried about way bigger things than if they gave me sleep apnea. Do you...

Re: Compliance shown on data
Thanks!
Im assuming that the Dr (nurse practitioner) would believe me. If she didnt, well tough noogies I guess. None of this matters though. I chose to overwrite and my compliance is back to %100 with all info present. Thanks for the help!

Compliance shown on data
For some reason when I check my data, it says I didnt use my cpap on two nights. Those nights are both days I took a nap. My compliance is %100 and Im sure if I tell my Dr that it wont be questioned but it bugs me.
Does this happen to anyone esle?

Re: anybody here recovered 100% ???
No Im not recovered %100 but Im a lot older and fatter so I'm not sure where I would be. I'm still tired all the time but, the other day when I couldn't think of a word, how bad it used to be came rushing back.
