Re: [Q] New to CPAP, how are my charts looking?

Any changes you guys recommend? I recommend reformatting your charts the way you've been asked to, repeatedly, so they're not an unreadable mess. Simple, step by step instructions, and examples: http://www.cpaptalk.com/wiki/index.php/Sleepyhead:Organize I also recommend not starting a new thread fo...

[Q] New to CPAP, how are my charts looking?

My original RX was for 6-10, with ramp on. With some guidance, it was recommended I try 7-11 pressure, ramp off, EPR to 3 all the time (which I didn't need to change as it was the same before). While I am not necessarily feeling any significant better, I understand this may take some time. And even ...

Re: F&P Brevida mask just beat my nose

I use the Brevida and I have to tape my septum every night. For some reason it makes my right nare raw if I don't. A little lanolin helps. I am trying a Resmed P10 pillow starting tonight. Hopefully with a better result. JPB Yikes, I might look into that. I was running errands today but forgot lano...

What do you guys think of this SH graph?

Any charts I'm missing or any that don't need to be visible?

This is my fourth night with therapy. For some reason, Saturday night (i.e. Sunday morning) didn't register on the SD card. Only shows about 30 min or so, even though I used it all night.

F&P Brevida mask just beat my nose

Woke up today feeling like someone punched my nose. Is this normal? I'm using the small size because using the large size makes the pillow touch more of my upper lip/under nose area and it feels weird and icky to have a warm and moist gel thing touching me throughout the night. What was different ab...

Re: CPAPTalk vs Apnea Board

When I first diagnosed, I found AB first and started reading everything there religiously, especially their helpful wikis for new users/what to expect/etc. But then I discovered this forum, and enjoy it as well! Everyone has been quite helpful everywhere, thankfully!

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

Excellent, thank you! Weird seeing people on that thread mention keeping it for 6 weeks. My DME tech told me every month (for the standard filters) Step 1, forget *everything* your DME told you, they lie, constantly, whether maliciously, (to get you to spend more money than you need to) or out of i...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

I didn't have any of the standard mesh ResMed filters, that I could find anyway, other than the denser hypo allergenic filters Which denser hypo allergenic filter? I have the Autoset S10 machine and didn't realize there were other options. There's the regular filter, and the hypoallergenic filter. ...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

Yes, both the N30i and the Dreamwear will feel similar when in place. But don't be too quick to discard the hose connection at the top. I have short hair, beyond mashing my hair there are no other issues. Top mount hoses are awesome, if you can live with the other end of the mask! You have to try t...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

I tried the Dreamware w/gel nasal cushions at the DME's office the other day when I picked up my machine and the F&P Brevida. I did not like the feeling of the hose connector on the top of my head. I keep my hair real short, so it's almost like there's a pressure spot right where the hose connects o...
