need mask without a prescription

i can't get a prescription anymore, they require me to have another sleep study and i lost my insurance. All i need is a new mask, i heard you can get them without the headgear/strap without a prescription, but it seems to cost more for just the mask alone doing it that way than for the mask and headgear together with a prescription. Anyone know where i could get just a mask for a reasonable price? im really tight on funds but i cant sleep without my cpap.

cpapmaskdeals.com never asks me for a script and their masks are always nicely discounted. I just ordered nasal pillows today for $13 that usually go for $20.

if you are buying the same mask as you have, just buy the cushions. there is no reason to replace the whole thing unless you want a different style mask. mask cushions do not need a prescription. also, any doctor or dentist can write a prescription for a mask.

The three different outfits I have used in the past have never asked me for a prescription! I go so tired of being treated like a criminal by a local supplier that I started buying on line. It was like I was supposed to pay for a Dr visit (this was before most Drs had on-line subscription renewal requests). So I was supposed to pay for a Dr visit, then carry the slip to the store just to get a new strap or something. If my Dr prescribed a cane and the rubber tip wore-out would I need a script just to buy a new cane tip?! The regulations can be ridiculous. Send me a Pm and I can give you the websites.

by dipping it in hot water?
