Re: AHI 5 = fine. AHI 1.5 = tired. Why?
believe it or not you may actually be mouth breathing a tiny bit and therefore you feel like hell even though your AHI is great. This happens to me all the time, sometimes low AHI is great then other nights low AHI and I'm very tired. Low AHI for me is anywhere from 0.0 to 0.6, there are days where ...

Re: New Software iPhone, Web, and Backup
I like the option of seeing data on my android phone.
Everything said already has lots of merit and I would like to see what transpires.

Re: more tired than before CPAP
It is quite normal around the 1 month mark to feel worse than before you started on cpap. It has a lot to do with your body adjusting to the new routine (Sleep) and possibly your body healing itself as that usually happens during REM sleep stage. Again this is quite normal and quite often only lasts...

It might just be that where you are located that he/she hasn't been able to get it supplied to them yet. If I were you I would let them know that its available and insist that its the mask you want to try.

Re: ResScan 4.3 Install Problem
Did you run the install file with administrator permissions?
Right click on the install file and choose "Run as Administrator", Its a windows Vista/7 security thing.
BTW ... A PM with version 4.3 link would be appreciated

As mentioned above, however have you tried lowering your humidifier to 3 and possibly even 2 ?
I recall having to adjust the humidifier setting depending on the season, now with my S9 autoset and heated hose I don't have to do that anymore.

Re: Is my thinking right?
Cobra, what pressures did you use in auto to find your optimal pressure? And what settings do you use now? Thanks. I set my auto at 7cm minimum to start (as this was my hospital titrated pressure) that way I never fell below the titrated pressure and followed the suggested 2-3cm above and no more t...

That is why I never give my home number anymore ... I tell them I only use a cellphone plus that way you can easily choose to answer or not. I love voice mail I even told my satellite provider the same when they wanted me to plug in my recievers. (Sorry can't connect a landline as I don't have one )

Re: WISP Nasal Mask from respironics.
I've been using mine for 2 months and absolutely love it.
If you had used the search function and searched for Wisp it would have taken you to 2 or 3 threads about the mask instead of starting yet another thread on the subject.

Is it possible that the sound he heard was a bit of rainout in your hose. Rainout makes a gurgling sound which could be mistaken for a snoring sound.

Re: Is my thinking right?
An auto machine is always a better choice as it covers both scenarios ... Straight CPAP or Auto adjusting which ever works best for the individual. A straight CPAP does just 1 setting and should your needs change, you must manually make the change after you figure out what the change needs to be, wh...

Re: AHI Increase
Its quite common for patients to start feeling worse (Numbers get worse as well) about a month into treatment as your body goes through changes. Don't worry too much as it will all work its self out, just keep an eye on your leaks especially mouth breathing (most people will have their mouth fall op...
