HELP-Still having 17.7 OA on new Auto
I'm still new to this and my doctor told me not to "micro-manage", just let the machine do it's job. But here's the thing. He switched me to an auto from a straight last week and I don't get my card read until nest week. I didn't tell him that I have the software because he didn't seem happy that I ...

I, too, have trouble with my Hybid leaking at the nasal pillows. I have tried all of the sizes and one or the other always leaks as the pressure passes 12 or 14. The noise wakes me up. I've tried smearing on sticky lanolin and taping the pillows to my nose. Sometimes this works for awhile but when I...

Shylakay, That is so sad. My grandsson is now 9. I'm going to keep a close eye on him. My grandmother died of a stroke and my mother, who is 84, snores like a freight train, but is too old and stubborn to change her way of life. Except for the nights that I have been able to take Ambien, I have NEVE...

Hybrid
I've had the Hybrid for 12 days (my 5th mask since my diagnosis on September 5), At my pressure of 16 I could not keep ff masks from blowing out. The Hybrid is nice because it comes with three different sizes and even the nose pillows can be cut apart and you can mix the sizes if you need to. I stil...

Higher AHI on CPAP
Papdaddy, You were right. On a pressure of 10 my AHI rose to 40.8. Since I was awake a lot of that 7.9 hours, I can only guess what my real score would be. I took my card to my DME today and she could only print out a compliance report. When I told her that she could do more than that with her Encor...

Is OSA inherited and other questions?
Does anybody know if OSA is inherited? I'm wondering because my grandson has been snoring loudly since he was tiny. I was just diagnosed three weeks ago after telling my Doctors for 30 years that I was tired and didn't sleep well. Finally I was sent to a Sleep Clinic and got a prescription for a CPA...

How much pressure can the cloth take?
I was wondering how much pressure you use. I need a 16 and I find that most small masks blow leaks at that pressure and i cannot sleep for all the noise of rushing air. My AHI has gone from 20 before CPAP to 27 since! I'm on my 5th mask and have not slept more than a few minutes at a time since my s...
