While both are hybrid styles meaning they have pillows and oral cushion, the original Innomed (now RespCare) Hybrid Universal fits much differently than the similar ResMed mask, which had to be sufficiently different to not violate the other's patent.
For the life of me, I can't make the ResMed not leak...it simply doesn't fit my face. The Hybrid fits me well with the advantage of 3 sizes of oral cushions and 3 sizes of pillows that can be adjusted to 2 heights -- all using the same plastic shell and headgear.

I answered medical other because congestion is my major challenge to successful CPAP therapy. Since switching to the RespCare Hybrid mask, I can now mouth breathe when my nose shuts down without waking up or losing precious therapy air. Gotta love allergies, chronic sinusitis, and gustatory rhinitis (wheat & now dairy protein), and vasomotor rhinitis

I having some mask issue but my sleep Dr feels that most of my tiredness is I don't sleep solid for long period of time. So I am doing strict sleep hygiene. For me that is going to bed at 10 pm and up at 5 am. No change in time to go to sleep or get up. Even off days. Once I get tired enough to sleep 7 hour then I can change to going to bed time but can vary wake up time by one hour. This is my fourth day on it. Sleeping better but still not through the whole night. I seem to have more energy in the morning now. Afternoon is hard to fight a nap. Dr stated it might take two month to reset my sleeping habits that came with undiagnosed OSA

My major problem is congestion. I'd say most of the people that have the hardest time adjusting is De-Nile, If you think you can't do something, you are correct, but it's your fault. Doing the Back stroke isn't going to help you, the current is too strong. Jim

I answered other as one of my cats (not the one who is diabetic) gets hungry at oh-dark-thirty and wakes me up.

In a more general sense which encompasses habits, I think tiredness can be related to a person's beliefs.

I've been thinking about this comment a lot lately, I think its pretty insightful and applicable to my case - Thanks!

I think it might be age with me, when I was younger I could use the cpap on auto and take the higher pressures and just in the last yr things changed.
It seemed that I would wake up around 3-4am in the morning like clock work.(strange observation)
I got vertigo and have been doing some exercises(home Eply maneuver, it works) to combat that before sleep and bought a new machine because I needed to see what was going on with sleep.
I think higher pressures are not for every one, so I keep my pressures to a minimum and fairly constant and Resmed A10 has helped with sleepy head software to achieve this.
Sleep is getting very normal now thanks to folks experiences and ideas on this site.

One of the most significant reasons is unable to sleep with this thing your face. That' should be a choice?

I think that was the "inconsistent hours slept" choice. I was looking for the same thing and finally decided that fits the best match. yet, my sleep hours are not necessarily inconsistent, but more like harsh/uncomfortable. lol

I was diagnosed as "chronic rhinitis" so congestion is answer.

I am a night owl working a day job, and so I have a hard time making myself go to bed early enough. Other than that, my sleep is satisfactory.

To get and stay old, you must adapt, it helps to accept your limitations. Jim
