if you go to 1 minute do you see gray segments in there? not just blue and green?

I would speculate you don't have a good signal seeing lots of disconnects or you got a bad oximeter (as I did twice with 50 E's)

Could be because it's not positioned correctly on your fingertip.

Yes , a grey section just before every drop..
This indicates a disconnect , or a bad machine , or both ???

The gray apparently indicates bad data. I've seen similar glitches on the CMS-50D+.

One of the later models claims to have some sort of smarter hardware, circuitry, or algorithm to indicate bad data.

It wouldn't seem to be possible for SPO2 to physically drop from 93 to 70 and back up within a few seconds.

What does the report show as your minimum SPO2?

Those are artifacts caused by a loss of signal.

Try a different finger.

Tried a different finger last nite, ill see what the results are later.

and i have it set to 70 as the lowest point. i shall change that lower and see

if it goes right down , supporting the loss of signal idea..

thanks for the input

The odd thing I see is that there is no gray break in the green line, which makes me suspect the oximeter.
But then there is this from your other thread:
thunderhand wrote:... I am very "active" when i sleep. I wake up, pillows on the floor , sheets tangled ect....
Does this go on all night?
What does your ResScan data show for the same time frame?
You might try wearing it recording for an hour while you are awake and sitting still, watching tv or something.
Or use the red icon, with it hooked up to your computer and watch it in real time. You should be able to do that with it in record mode at the same time.

Also, check the connection of the probe lead to the unit.

If the grey bars referred to are at the bottom of the graph, they represent an event, or a change outside the parameters that are user setable. Here is a pic from the manual.

Good luck!
