I was dx. with pulmonary hypertension and they are saying it was also in part due to the severe sleep apnea.

I just wanted to let you know that things are going a LOT better. I told you before that my husband woke me up all the time to tell me I was "leaking". Well, now he wakes me up to tell me to get my mask on if I happen to fall asleep without it. It makes me so happy !! I really do not feel that much ...

I do not understand all the noise. If you have a tight seal there should not be all that noise. When I have my ff mask on and everything is set correctly there is no noise at all in the room. If it starts making noise my husband hears it and I reseal it and we are both back to sleep. I am no expert ...

Just found out my nieces husband has OSA............
I told him I wanted to talk to him before he gets his machine.
Hopefully I can save him some of the problems I had.
My sister is also going to print out some of the posts from here.

Dr. said it was related to sleep apnea, lupus and asthma.

I have to call and get a copy of my sleep study faxed over.
I do remember they did mention the Cheyne-Stokes though.
It seems like sleep apnea can be a very serious condition.
It blows my mind the more I am learning.
