Re: For those of you with a fitbit
I've had the Fitbit for about a year myself. I have the FitBit Ultra, which I don't think they sell anymore. It is similar to the FitBit One. While the unit itself is not cheap, it comes with a really good web site where you can also track weight, measurements, food intake, etc. I had looked closel...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
My bad; the clearance pedometer I bought at Target is a New Balance Via Slim (probably discontinued) My Gaiam by Oregon Scientific is even older, probably also discontinued. (the one I washed) Look for a pedometer with dynamometers, not pendulums. If the packaging does not say "dynamometer", it pro...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
Thanks for the info, but I do have another question. The FitBits say they have wireless synching with iPhones and some Android phones. My Android is not on the list. Do you have an iPhone? How do you get the data to the website? Thanks! Kate I have a Galaxy S III - I downloaded the fitbit app, and ...

Re: Ladies - protecting long hair.
Just want to share that my long hair issues, breakage/slippage, etc., completed disappeared when I switched to the Tap Pap mask. No headgear = no hair trouble. Problem solved. I'm so tempted. But I've purchased enough stuff this year - it will have to wait until next year before I buy anything else...

Re: Ladies - protecting long hair.
Isn't wearing a head cover too hot when you have long hair? My hair is down to my waist and I wear it up during the day. I can't picture how this might actually work but I get tired of hair all over the place when I am trying to sleep. The buff does look more promising but how do you wear it? I ten...

Re: Ladies - protecting long hair.
Good morning everyone. I like to do a trade on my headcover http://www.headcovers.com/777/three-seam-cotton-sleep-caps/ for the buff instead http://www.buffwear.com/buff-headwear/original-buff?page=2. Don't get me wrong on the headcover, is a very good head cover in my opinion. However, the buff ca...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
I am enrolled in the walking challenge through work--national county government organization; as a retiree, I can still use it as family/friends--it's free, and works with any pedometer, swim and bike times are counted, too. Never buy a unit that rattles; those are way less accurate, especially for...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
I toyed with the idea, and then I saw this awesome Balance 3-axis on clearance at Target for 25 bucks; so, no fitbit. Good deal! I tried to look up Balance 3-axis as I've never heard of it, but I don't think I found what you are talking about. Do you have a link? I'd like to take a look see. Hubby ...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
I have been looking ooking into getting a Fitbit. Can you explain it to me a you have, and how you like it? I have the Fitbit one in Burgundy. I really love this thing but I think what I really love about it are the different motivations it offers. The challenges are to climb stairs, to walk so man...

Re: For those of you with a fitbit
I have the Fitbit one. I'm going to buy the wristband at $15, that way I can have my cake and eat it too as it were. I really like it. It does not pick up car vibrations like my last pedometer did. And I really love the calorie verses burn ability so then I'm more on target with what I eat. I don't ...

Re: Nasal Pillow Sealer Tests
Quietmorning, I forgot to ask...when using the earplug method do you have to change it every night or is it good for how long? Thanks You know, I'm not really sure - as I wanted to test the next product. I did wonder about it though - though I noticed that the package that the ear plugs come in are...

Re: Fitbit and sleep wake cycles with apnea
Just for kicks, I tried it again last night, somehow it snuck out of my sleep wrist and and ended up in the bed - which meant I SLEPT VERY WELL LAST NIGHT!! 98%!! I purchased this for movement during the day - so this wasn't a waste, just not the option I want to use. Movement, though - wow!! I REAL...
