Re: heart rate really high on waking in morning?

I have a blood pressure cuff that measures both blood pressure and heart rate but also manually. My normal heart rate is in the 70s. I've had tachycardia since developing Graves disease. I'm waking up with my heart rate anywhere between 105 and 118. That's very high for me. I'm 5'7, 128 pounds, very...

Re: still here

still struggling with the Graves. I get my first follow up bloodwork next week and then see the doc on the 30th. I run this roller coaster of scary high heart rate, take the meds, blood pressure drops too low. Stop meds, heart rate okay for 2 days then skyrockets. Emotions still out of control and b...

heart rate really high on waking in morning?

It might go down 10 beats within 15 minutes of waking and moving around? I would expect my heartrate t...

Re: still here

Unfortunately I didn't order the Advanced (just double checked with cpap.com). But I can return and exchange. Should I even try the Elan out? Or just send it right back for the Advanced?

still here

Hey Everyone! Just letting you know I'm still here. Not making hardly any progress with my CPAP but I'm just letting that ride for now with the other stuff I have going on. Some nights I just don't even put it on. The nights I do, I don't seem to last more than 3 hours. I ordered a new mask (the Sle...

my doc started me at 4 and I raised it to 6 and it made a world of difference. I felt suffocated at 4-5.

Re: My Husbands Cpap Adventure

That is a HUGE step. I have yet to leave the mask on all night. In fact most nights I only average about 3 hours. That's wonderful! Your hard work is paying off

Re: my update: not much better with the CPAP

xoxoxo thank you for all the love! I have mentioned to my husband that maybe speaking with a counselor would help me. but yuck....starting all over again with that does not sound appealing, lol. Pugsy, I didn't know that about the beta blockers but I'm starting to take myself off of them. As the Gra...
