I'm not sure he would agree to that but thank you for the compliment.

You know, when he starts feeling better, he'll realize how lucky he is. He may not want to admit it, but he'll know!

That is my hope. He is a good man and well worth keeping. (at least most of the time)

Stormynights, you're a super blessing to your husband! He may not yet fully appreciate what you are doing, but I believe he will in spades when he is able to fully treat his apnea. He'll feel so much better and it will be apparent that he feels better due to the therapy not something he has done. Keep it up!

He took his motorcycle out for a spin today for the first time in months. He is feeling better in spite of the high AHI. I raised his pressure a tad and put him on auto. I know I have to go very slow with him as I continue to herd the flock of cats.

We stopped by the DME yesterday to get the results from my husband's use of the APAP for adjusting his pressure. When he got the report, he looked it over briefly, then handed it to me and said something about letting the expert figure it out! Of course, I'm far from an expert, but if he wants to believe that, I'll let him!

He kept his mask on all night again. I am so happy. Another baby step.

Thank you all for the encouragement. It is not a first step but a series of baby steps. I hear stories about partners complaining about air blowing on them or a little noise from the air flow. What about waking up with a dead body? My husbands condition has had me worried for a long time. Maybe soon we will both get some well deserved good rest.

That is a HUGE step. I have yet to leave the mask on all night. In fact most nights I only average about 3 hours. That's wonderful! Your hard work is paying off

The only reason he is able to leave his mask on is that I changed his pressure. It is way too low for him to get the proper therapy. I did give it a tiny bump last night and he never noticed. I plan on keeping up the tiny bumps till he gets where he needs to be.

You go, Stormy! Sounds like your plan is working. That's HUGE that he kept the mask on two nights in a row!
