You might want to remove the "15" from the subject. New users might think that this is part 15
of something (which it is) and therefore not the place to start reading.

I'm not sure how "Table of Contents" relates to CPAP Basics, but I certainly have molette to thank for bringing the topic I originated to life. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and for that, I am truly honored. For all I know, the Basics posts may have just drifted off into obscurity without his help, but now it's "stickied". I wasn't sure what that meant until I read this thread.

My last post on the CPAP Basic topic will be this weekend, and I can only hope it meets everyone's expectations.

By the way, while I can't say the title, the second edition of my book is now available for anyone interested.

Jim, actually Molette understood what we wanted and took the appropriate actions such as coming with the table of contents on various topics of interest he created that is now a sticky. He deserves all the credit.

Maybe call it "Part 0" (zero)? That should sort properly AND alert the reader that it isn't part of the "meat".

This wasn't imitation or flattery. It was replacing the fluff with actual information that is useful. No bias. Nothing to sell. Just good, useful information. He listened to the responses to your posts and gave us what we asked for. You seem to ignore our responses and simply continue on with your infomercial. Kind of like a telemarketer on the phone who follows a script regardless of what response they get.

After reading through some of the topics, you're right, this isn't quite "imitation". It appears the basics idea was taken to a more advanced level. I'm not sure how many new users of CPAP would want to read through JCSM clinical guidelines for manual titration.

Regardless, I do hope people will benefit from the posts. If they feel this information is too involved, they can simple search "CPAP Basics" under sleepwellcpap.

This thread by Mollete has taught me more about my OSA and CPAP than everything I have read before.

Thank you for all the info! I went to my DME today anticipating a fight, armed with printouts of information. When I got there, however, he had a ResMed S9 Elite waiting for me, asked which full face mask I wanted, and said my Dr. specifically prescribed the "better" tubing (whatever that means). Obviously I still have lots to learn, but I'm well on my way
