The ResMed S9 you are using is the one they made me give up because they did the study on the wrong machine. I agree with you, the ResMed gave me no problems and I slept like a baby!

Re: Central Apnea
Sleepingbeauty I don't know how to interpret the data. I did move the Min PS from 0.0 to 4.0. The biggest change is the EPAP is going up. I have a daily average of 1.5 AHI and I feel terrible. I'm not getting the sleep I use to. I am going to try to get a repeat ASV titration on the ResMed machine. ...

Re: Central Apnea
I can't change many of the things that cause it except the weight. Perhaps that's why the sleep study changed as I had lost 50 lbs due to illness but have gained it back...darn it. Alpha Sleep did a study on me and not only changed the machine I used but dropped a lot of the figures and I feel like ...

Can't figure out how to answer you "quote" is not working for me. The settings you gave me appear to be working. I do feel the air and sleep much better. Thank you very much

Re: Apria excessive charges for supplemental oxygen generator
BP Jacks, Unfortunately I have Apria also. I only use the 02 with my machine and it's always been a concentrator. In the beginning was being charged over 130 dollars per mo. I filled out their papers for a "hardship" discount and got zero payments. This year they told me due to the new regulations, ...

Re: Headaches and feeling breathless the morning AFTER cpap
LynBarnes,
Are you on oxygen? I found out by accident one time that my headaches stopped after the Hospital sent me home on 02. Later on I was DX with 101 AHI with central apnea. You have to have 02 with that type.

NOT GETTING ENOUGH AIR
I hope someone can help me. I've been on here before talking about working with a different machine. I went from a ResMed VPAP to a Respironics BIPAP Auto ASV Advanced. I don't feel I get enough air with this machine. Is it a setting or machine problem. I'm a very shallow breather and take longer br...

Re: Any bad experiences with ASV?
I had a wonderful experience with the ResMed. In the beginning my numbers were 25/23 on a plain machine. I got switched to a ResMed ASV and it didn't feel like a wind storm going thru my mask. I recently had a new ASV Titration and I did not know the DME had switched to an exclusive contract with Re...

Re: Poll: What type of mask do you use?
I have switched from a ResMed Full Face Quantro to a ResMed full face AirFit F10. I like this mask except the plastic sides leave marks on your face for awhile.

Pugsy...My card kept reading 100% available. The DME sent me a new one and when I put it in, it went to 96% but has not moved since. It says "card is unlocked". Should it be?Pugsy wrote:What makes you think it isn't writing to the SD card?
You can use any generic SD card...doesn't have to be name brand.
