Re: Returned masks
The big question is who are you buying from. Buying from my local DME or from CPAP.com, I would not worry at all about that. Buying from some internet operation, idk. I guess the biggest circumstantial evidence I would look for is if they required a copy of your prescription. If so, they probably ar...

Re: Two New Airfit Masks, F10 and N10
I am due for a new mask and interesting in trying to find a solution beyond my EasyLife. It's very comfortable and I could just swap out the headgear (Velcro has stopped holding), but I wear glasses and it would be nice to find a solution without the forehead support to open up my field a view. I ha...

Re: Padacheeks
I absolutely LOVE my Padacheeks. Had I not found out about them and chatted with Karen when I first started on CPAP, I probably would have quit. I was using Remzzzz without much success. My current setup is one Remzzzz between the inner and outer cushion of a PR EasyLife (the one with the forehead s...

Re: International travel with CPAP
I'm making a trip the day after tomorrow to London from the US. Gotta connect through Frankfurt. This will be helpful, thanks. On the flip side, is the ResMed S9 power adaptor world use? My laptop just needs a prong adapter as the power adapter can handle either voltage, so no converter needed. I ho...

FYI for everyone else. DeepBreath contacted me within hours of my post and over PM we arranged for payment and shipping. This was a Saturday evening and Monday morning he sent out the mask and my tracking #. Happy with the purchase and getting the TrueBlue all situated. Thanks DeepBreath!

Re: Residual Morning Sleepiness
Can't provide any guidance, but I can stay that most days I wake up/get up 2-3 times over an hour and a half. If I don't "phase in" waking up, I won't make it past lunchtime. So is be interested in hearing what everyone else says.

Re: Hiding cpap a from family members
Living honestly means that you be yourself in the fullest capacity you are capable of - and letting those who are around you choose for themselves how they will respond. The fact that you are on cpap is not going to change whether your aunt knows it or not. What WILL change is the respect you have ...

Re: Nose gets congested = yanked mask?
I also have an EasyLife as my daily mask. I have a Quattro (not the FX, but the older one) as my backup for when I might be stuffed up. Thankfully, my congestion due to allergies isn't too bad, so my EasyLife can still work fine for me. It's when I get sick / sinus infection that I have to switch to...

Re: Nasal Mask
I loved my Mirage FX, but it was not kind to my nose. The bridge, or rather, an inch down from the top of the bridge, blistered and stayed sore and red. My DME said I HAD to use a different mask. After a couple different masks, I ended up with the EasyLife. Used it for 18 months with great results. ...

I know this thread is a couple months old, but do you still have the TrueBlue available. Thinking about swapping out my EasyLife for it.

Re: ComfortGel Vs True Blue Vs SoftGel Nasal Masks
Did you end up trying the TrueBlue? I have an EasyLife right now that I'm generally happy with. But after 18 months, my nose bridge still is constantly sore and red. I saw a promo video for TrueBlue and thought perhaps the pivot would help reduce pressure on my bridge. Hoping you ended up getting yo...

Re: How long should a mask last.
it is sort of nice to already have a replacement on hand before your current mask decides it will break at 1:43 in the AM! My other half just found that out the hard way. Her Mirage FX frame broke where it attaches to the headgear. Thankfully, I had a spare that she is making due with while her rep...

Re: How long should a mask last.
Had mine for 2 years now. At least I'm not the only one. My humidifier tank, ClimateLibe, EasyLide mask, headgear, and chin strap are all original from October 2011, about 18 months. My gecko nose bridge pad and pad a cheeck for the Easy life replace about every 8 months. That's more because of how...
