Re: Resmed N30i Cushion change in Material?
Thank you for that confirmation. I guess it’s back to the Dreamwear for me.

Resmed N30i Cushion change in Material?
Took me 2+ years, but awhile back I finally found the perfect mask for me: Resmed N30i. Yesterday I swapped out the cushion, noticing that the new one came in a plastic bag instead of the clamshell-type package I’d gotten before. I put it on and noticed immediately that it felt different. The part t...

Re: OSCAR v1.2.0 is released 10/10/2020
Thanks, all. I appreciate the work that volunteers put into OSCAR (and the now unsupported Sleepyhead.) it's very disappointing that the manufacturers don't care much about the end-user, since they market to doctors, not us. A cross-platform app that reads all the data should come standard with ever...

Re: OSCAR v1.2.0 is released 10/10/2020
I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this. Long story short, I'm trying to install OSCAR. My Mac laptop is very old (and would never run Sleepyhead), so I got an inexpensive Chromebook. Per the installation instructions, I checked to see what processor it has and I saw aarch64. Again, p...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
Two nights with the Bleep (ordered from cpap.com) First night: -- Used an alcohol wipe to clean my skin, almost passed out, lesson learned. -- Applied the adhesives so that they were vertical and parallel up my nose. Weird overlap, lots of bunching, lots of leaks. -- Clicked everything together with...

Re: Mask leaks after sleeping an hour or longer
I have a similar leak pattern. I got an ordinary, inexpensive home security camera and recorded myself all night; it turns out I talk in my sleep during certain sleep stages.

Re: Cause of leaks FINALLY figured out
Probably, but I've never had long-term success with one. I have a small face, and everything leaks from the moment the machine turns on.

Cause of leaks FINALLY figured out
I've never seen anything posted here on this subject, here goes. My ASV is going really well, always good SH results, but high leaks (usually over 10, sometimes 20 - 30) and very dry mouth. The leaks generally come in a cluster in the middle of the night, so it's not the mask (original Dreamwear.) L...

Re: Really concerned with cleaning
I was especially concerned with cleaning at first because I have a variety of autoimmune issues, and I’m on a medical routine that suppresses my immune response. I’ve become more careful in general for the past few years because of this, so when I started CPAP 2 ½ years ago, I was really concerned. ...

Re: New here- mouth leak hint
Try Mask Mate instead — google it. I thought I couldn’t get anymore, but I found it. It works pretty well for me.

Re: New here- mouth leak hint
Hah! I just discovered body adhesive 5 minutes ago! I put it in my Amazon cart and came right to this message board to see what's new. I wonder if it will keep my mask from leaking in one little spot.

Re: Mask Gel Instead of Liners?
It says in a blurb on its Amazon page that’s it is silicone-based and approved for incidental food contact. Also that it is based on a similar product that divers use (who knew?) but with a viscosity better for CPAP masks and users. FDA approved. Also made in the USA.

Mask Gel Instead of Liners?
Has anyone used mask gel to seal up leaks, instead of a mask liner? I don't think I've ever seen a post on it. I ordered something called Mask Mate from Amazon, no longer available. It's a gel in a small jar. I spread it on the mask where it contacts my face and it gives me a pretty good seal until ...
