Re: Headache Experiences?
In addition to one's CPAP machine, a pulse-oximeter is a good tool to have for occasional blood oxygen checking. Headaches are known to be troublesome to some who have low oxygen readings which can be caused by sleep breathing disorder. Not to derail the conversation (still interested in replies re...

Re: VPAP ASV --> Aircurve 10 ASV upgrade complete
Did you notice the pressure adjustments were too high? That is the one thing I have been reading about the auto mode is that the pressure has been adjusting too high sometimes. I noticed you said you rolled back over and went to sleep. I am new to ASV, but am still debating between S9 and AirCurve ...

RESPIRONICS BIPAP® AUTO SV™ AND RESMED AirCurve 10 ASV
Has anyone used both the Respironics PR System One REMstar BiPAP ST and the new ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV? How well have you found them to work with a wireless (wifi) SD card? Which of the two do you favor and why? My main sleep issue is central apnea with some obstructive, ratio about 2:1 central to o...

Great rhythm. Use headphones for higher volume at night so you won't awaken others.

Nicely done, wacyone! Keep up the good work. Btw, what did you have for lunch and dinner? I'd like to try the same thing you had and see if diet helped any. Also, did you exercise lightly, moderately or intensely or not at all? Not to pry, but anything special romantically that night? (LOL, you need...

Re: cpap data: low number apneas, but large number of hypopneas
Beautiful fish in your avatar, Wulfman. I agree with awaiken. Shouldn't be any harm in trying. That said, however, I'm in the same boat with with you. Hardly any apnea but quite a few Hypopnea every single night. So I have tried in the past what Wulfman suggests, but no significant change in my case...

A Month In The Clinker A habitually difficult woman just had a very mean fight with her weak and chronically ill elderly husband. The next day the 80 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting. When she went before the judge he asked her, "What did you steal?" She replied, "It was only a little ca...

I have extra hoses for both ResMed and Respironics machines, Enchanter. If you remind me which brand machine you're using and PM me your mailing address, I'll send you a hose. Good luck.

You'll probably also want to get yourself a high speed SD or XD card for quicker action in writing the transferred sleep data to it.SleepyCarey wrote:Wow, this is really awesome, Papit! Thank you! I will try this! Just ordered the 8GB FlashAir III card from Amazon.

Wow, this is really awesome, Papit! Thank you! I will try this! Just ordered the 8MB FlashAir III card from Amazon. Question - in section B (steps 1 & 4), am I right in assuming I can save to my computer in lieu of an SD card? Hi SleepyCarey. You would be right that you could save the transferred s...
