Airfit F20 cushions and frame compatibility

Post by Dog Slobber » Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:19 pm

I'm going to be looking at a second hand ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her today.

It comes with a Medium sized AirFit F20 mask. Although I use Nasal Pillows, I wouldn't mind having a Full Face mask to fall back on. I'm pretty sure when I first got fitted for CPAP masks I was a large.

Should I find the medium AirFit F20 cushion too small, will a large sized cushion fit into the existing frame?

The Air fit F20 frame will accept the small, medium, or large cushion. The F20 for her is the same sized frame as the regular mask, but comes with a smaller head gear. The head gear comes in three sizes, but there is only one frame size. The for her frame has lavender color on the magnetic catch while the regular frame has blue.

I downloaded an AirFit f20 Manual and looked up the part numbers supplied within.

The part numbers are varied for the parts known to have different sizes, cushion and headgear. The frame doesn't.

This suggests that it is a single Frame size that accommodates different sized headgear and cushions.

Thank you both!
