Hello all, I was wondering if you can use a dehumidifier in the same room I sleep in? I get a lot of condensation on my windows in my room. Opening the window a crack makes it super cold in my room and I cant sleep with heat on. I was thinking about getting a dehumidifier to suck the water out of the air so it doesn't condensate on my windows. I think this will kind of defeat the purpose of having my machine's humidifier on. I know it helps keep my throat/mouth from getting dry. Some of you might say, turn it off while you sleep? I have a feeling my window would be fully of moisture again by the time I get up if I did that. I don't know much about dehumidifiers.
What do you all think? I couldn't find any info about this on google.

You need to state which model of what machine you use, and mask, and if water is condensing on your windows you don't need a humidifier. If your throat is dry, are you using a full face mask which should help in any case, or taping your lips to keep from losing Cpap air that way? What are your pressures? Do you take meds (they can sometimes dry you out)?

As someone else said, the machines are very loud. They also need to be emptied periodically which I doubt you'll do in the middle of sleeping.

The dehumidifier will draw moisture out of the air. As such, it will also increase the amount of water your machine uses every night. It will generate quite a bit of heat in the room, and they make some noise.

Are you wanting to do this only because of the window condensation?
What kind of windows? Double pane?
What kind of heat do you use? (Condensation can be a sign of a hot air furnace needing attention.)

Sleep loss is a terrible thing. People get grumpy, short-tempered, etc. That happens here even among the generally friendly. Try not to take it personally.

Or a house cursed with single glazed windows.
Our investment in double glazed, low-e windows paid for itself surprisingly fast.
In a rental, one can use the film window insulation kits--just be prepared to repair paint damage from removal.
The adhesive can remove old, loose paint.

Check the setting on your furnace humidifier. Yes you can run a de-humidifier in your bedroom while using your CPAP, but expect your CPAP humidification needs to go up and your CPAP water humidifier use to increase.
The water that is condensing on your bedroom windows is coming from somewhere. Try to reduce that. House plants, shower (bathroom venting), humidifier on furnace.
