The location does sound vaguely familiar:

"Republic of Sleep is located at 13235 N Promenade, Stafford, TX 77477."--https://republicofsleep.com/home/terms-and-conditions/

And the manager of Goodman Products seems to be some guy named John: https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_tx/0803104699

I swear to you I do not know the man.

Stafford, Texas?
Why does that sound familiar?

now i don't want to start anything here. if pugsy says knock it off, then i surely will.

BUT!

is this why we don't see the goodmans around here so much?

in the words of the immortal lazurus, just sayin'.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

IMO, the reason we don't see them around is that running business(es) occupies a lot of time. Well, that, and Pugsy does a great job here. We'll, that, and they don't want to fuel any false accusations this help site is not legit because it is mostly just a form of free advertisement for them. Not true at all, of course.

For the record, I would tend to trust any business with a Goodman associated with it more than any business without. But my personal loyalties have been warped by the great service I have received when ordering from CPAP.com and the great help I've received over the years from posters here at cpaptalk.com.

I may live forever, but I don't plan on being immortal. Just sayin'.

I love you way with words, Lazarus! And agree with all of them - including those I didn't quote.

Thank you, ozij.

I can't believe I misspelled "received" again, though. :)

But, hey, I have to do something to irritate chunky once in a while.

Proofreading - Proof reading

Both correct I guess, but your way looks funny.

The "i before e" rule cannot be used without ALL of its exceptions--and there are too many.
The Scrips spelling bee was just on--those poor kids!

I have been reading the journals of Lewis and Clark--in modern typeface--but original spelling.
I now understand that interpreting "creative" text is the key to communication.
Spelling is more than rigid adherence to the holy "blue book".
Sadly, I am stuck with decades of compulsive discipline.
I "must" spell correctly--or go utterly mad.
