I'm a side sleeper who tosses from side to side and wear a Mirage full face. The standard pillow isn't working out well.

Re: Neck is hurting every morning. What's a good pillow?
I am a side sleeper and find that a good quality down filled pillow is the best for me because it will squish to hold my mask. Foam and polyester filled pillows are too hard for the mask to squish down. I have tried down/chopped feather mix pillows and they weren't any good.
good pillow?
I only started cpap for over a month and got a cpap pillow from overstock.com. They don't advertise the maker - mine was Hudson Medical so the price was lower than cpap.com (sorry ). Here's the link, they delivered in about 1 week: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Sl ... oduct.html.
Pls also note the pillow is great, the pillow case is not the greatest but it's been good for me. I am a side sleeper, use the Respironics EasyLife nasal mask.

I've been advising people who have mask leakage that the standard bed pillows can be horrible for this therapy.TravLikes wrote:Looking at the google shopping page linked below. There are a few options I see.

I've been using the Chiroflow/Mediflow water-based pillow for years (even before I started on CPAP therapy) and it is great.
There are also other pillows that have worked for other users, but there are quite a few people on this forum that have found the water-based pillows to work for them, too.

I have been using the Countour CPAP pillow - it's made of memory foam and comes with a specially fit cover. It has 2 nice cutouts on the bottom corners so that whether you turn on your left or right side, there is space for the mask/hose. I have been very happy with it.

My husband also uses the Regenesis and it has helped him with the leaks.
I use the Indulgence pillow from Bed Bath and Beyond. It's a yummy down alternative pillow that is supportive yet lofty and squishy.
Pillows are such an individual thing. You really have to invest in a few and try them out.
