kidneys hurt in the morning

Post by fishy » Sat Jan 12, 2013 10:56 am

This started about the same time I started my cpcp. I wake up and my kidneys feel sore. After getting up and walking around, they are o.k.

Is it really your kidneys or your lower back? Many people have major joint and muscle aches for the first few weeks because for the first time in years they are not moving around at night. I thought my hips had seized up after the first night.
Try adding a mattress pad and making sure your back isn't torqued if you sleep on your side (try tucking a pillow between your knees) Make sure you have a good pillow to support your neck.

I thought the same thing where I had pain on my right side right where my kidney would be and then I realized, Oh yea I donated that one to my wife.
So yea its hip, lower back pain.
