Re: Defective CPAP Filters
The standard Remed filters do discolour as they pickup dust so are doing some filtering but the filter is so course there is no way it's managing to filter pollen, mold and bacteria. I still get hay fever with the standard filters. I designed an adapter for my Resmed 10 that allows a pair of 3M N95 ...

Re: bacterial filters
I found the same thing with those style filters. There is a setting in Resmed S10 that is supposed to compensate for the pressure resistance but I thought that didn't really make a difference. So I developed a different solution that works so well: https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=188649...

Re: 3d printed Airsense10 bayonet filter safe?
Thanks, I found it on Amazon. Looks like they are using a 3d model that someone posted on printables. I did a version that uses 2 x 3M filters as that's what the 3M respirators use to ensure low inhale resistance and I think is safer for your machine as puts less load on the motor. Mine can also be ...

Have you got a picture or link for it? Interested to see what it is.

Re: Larger better filter?
That’s nice! If I’d seen that I would have done that instead, I already have extra filters around. Thanks, it's working really well for me. Like you I was thinking there had to be a better filter option than the one that's on the machine and wanted to make sure that the solution didn't restrict air...

Re: Larger better filter?
I designed a simpler option that uses any 3M respirator filter including N95.

If you don't have a 3d printer there are lots of online 3d print services that print and courier parts to you. Like PCBway.

Re: N95 filter for Remed Airsense 10
No worries. I think you'd have to remove to door to access the inlet. It does just unclip but there is a small risk of breaking the plastic so I wouldn't do it unless your really keen on hooking up my n95 filter. I found some good pictures on line so might have a crack at a tapered oval that should ...

If anyone is able to accurately measure the height and width of the oval I can make an adapter.

Re: N95 filter for Remed Airsense 10
Looks like the hole on the Airsense 11 is a little obscured by the filter door. I think you'd have to unclip the door at the hinges.

Re: N95 filter for Remed Airsense 10
I'd need the shape and dimensions of the air inlet port. I imagine the Airsense 11 is the same as 10 (round 14mm hole)?prodigyplace wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 4:31 amI notice your maker page offers making adapters for other CPAP. What information do you need for the AirSense 11?

N95 filter for Remed Airsense 10
I sometimes have allergy to pollen and needed a good filter. So I designed and 3D printed an adapter to take 3M respirator filters and cartridges and a hose adaptor that allows me to use a spare CPAP hose to connects to my Resmed Airsense 10 inlet. https://i.ibb.co/1r46Yrq/PXL-20240811-015555730.jpg...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 base bracket
I do post a lot of stl files on free 3d model sites but for some things where I've put in a lot of time on design I sell the item as a finished product. Open source is great for the user but doesn't reward the creators for their hard work! Thanks for the offer of your son making these in the states....

Re: Resmed N30 mask filter replacement
Ok, so I have answered my own question. I figured that my N30 was unusable and would need replacing so had nothing to lose. I got a flat screwdriver and careful levered the parts apart to get to the filters. I used the old ones as a template to cut some new ones from a spare resmed s10 filter. Clipp...

Re: Resmed N30 mask filter replacement
Yes, the filter material is the other side of the vent holes. It's impossible to clean the filter material through those tiny vent holes. So removing the materials replacing it or even being able to give it a scrub is what I'm trying to achieve. Just soaking in the frame in hot water doesn't clear it.

Resmed N30 mask filter replacement
Has anyone managed to replace the mask filter on a Resmed N30 mask? I love this mask but the filter mesh is blocked making exhale harder. I refuse to buy an expensive new frame just because the filter needs replacing. It should be a service item but I can't see a way to remove it without breaking th...
