AHI is a PER HOUR average and when your doctor says under 10 AHI he/she is talking about the PER HOUR AVERAGE and not talking about the overall number of events during the night. You would be correct.
To get total number of events you multiply the AHI by the number of hours the machine was on.

Had my first follow up. Dr said treatment is doing very well.And my goal is Ahi of 10. I must say it feels good to wake up each morning feeling well rested. Last night data 0.6 9 hours of sleep

My reading last night on resmed 10 was 1.8 I slept 8 hrs
How many episodes did I actually have? Had a little leakage. Moved around in bed a bit. Dreaming
