Re: Second Guessing My Purchase
Ahhh, Cassandra, a girl after my own heart, beating myself up seems to be my favorite pastime! Just to let you know I have always been a tummy sleeper and still I it took 50 years to find out I have severe sleep apena and RLS. What I wouldn't give to have known this years ago and avoided lots of hea...

I've never had any trouble with Chap Stick, but I do know that Burt's Bees lip balm burns when I use it on my lips, so as for me I won't try it. I'll check on the ingredients though and let you know.

Re: Doctors and credibility
I hope by now you've found some relief, I don't suffer from sinus infections, however I was under the impression that ear tubes are usually inserted because the eustation canals in the ears are slanted in a way that let's infections settle in the ear. That's why young children and babies are the maj...

So, have you signed the form that says, "I agree to be buried at Sea?" Perplexed as to why you would take the chance.

After you have a cold, and you go through boxes and boxes of tissues, your nose gets so sore, you can put some Chap Stick on it and Walla instant relief. Now I keep the ones for my nose in my nightstand next to my cpap machine. Having been born and raised in N.Y. and walking everywhere in the cold a...

Re: Anyone glad they were diagnosed?
OMG, YES, I was falling down, breaking bones, they were looking for MS, I was scared to death. Sleep Apena was something the Specialist said, "NO WAY" does she have it. Well, finally after exhausting everything including my pocket book they finally did 2 studies because they couldn't belive lack of ...

What works for me on both my FF and my Swift Lt. for Her is good ole Chap Stick, never melts, not greasy and I get the Classic Cherry. When I have any sinus issues, very rarely I use the Chap Stick with Menthol and get great relief. Worth a try it's cheap, easy to find, and works great on sore nares...

Re: American Airlines took my medical equipment bag
I am afraid at fir,st mention of not being able to carry on my CPAP machine, I would have opened the case it was in, proudly donned my full-face mask, connected the hose to the machine, put the shoulder strap on my shoulder, borded the plane explaining rather loudly not only couldn't I breathe, I'd ...

Looks to me like a halo screwed into my head may be more stable and comfortable as I am a tummy sleeper too!

Re: Sleep aids and fragmented sleep patterns
Hi Pugsy, I can relate to a lot of your issues, I have fractured pars in my lower back, l4,l5,s1, and have found some relief with naproxen 500mg at night and morning along with 900mg of a nerve conduction medicine called gabapentin as my back issues cause leg pain. I've already had a cervical spine ...

CPAP & Lumbar Fusion
I have been on Cpap almost 4 years and am facing a possible Lumbar Fusion. I am wondering if anyone has had this procedure and if they were more successful with weight loss after the surgery if their mobility was in fact improved or if not.
Thanks, for your experiences.

Re: OT: My first earthquake!
Wow, I'm glad it wasn't worse, and I think you should be shook up even if it was mild. I've experienced a few good hurricanes, but Isabelle a couple of years ago really shook Virgina Beach and the rest of the Tidewater Area. We lost all our huge oak trees, one missed the house by 2 inches but hit th...

BRAVO on your bike escapades, I always enjoy your pix, the first one however looks like my cpap stats on some nights!
Just kidding, great shots, I'd show you mine, but living in Virgina Beach, there all floating shots on the beach or in the pool!
