Hi Brenda,
Thanks for your reply. I have been using the mask in APAP mode but I don't know enough about all of this to know if there is a problem. I'm still curious as to why Respironics does not recommend it for APAP.
Anyone else have thoughts/opinions on this?

Comfort Lite 2 Mask & APAP?
Hi All,
I was searching the internet for leak rates for my Comfort Lite 2 mask and saw on a Respironics site that they only recommend this mask for CPAP and Bi-level use. I am on APAP. Is anyone else using it with APAP?

So many generous people! Wonderful! I'm confused as to what, if anything is still available. I need a nasal mask, and if one is available can PM someone to tell you why I am in need of assistance. I hope in the future I am in a situation whereby I can be one of the donators. Bless you all! Frances

Re: Nasal Mask Question
What is your pressure? I am on APAP; not sure of the pressure settings as I have a doc who doesn't think patients should be educated about their treatment, read their cards, etc. I recently got a card reader and the software, but have had some difficulties with it, so I will have to get someone to ...

Re: Nasal Mask Question
Boston and Karen, thank you both for your replies. I don't have an option for a trial on a mask , and since I have never used a nasal mask, I don't know how to evaluate them, so feedback is really helpful.

Nasal Mask Question
I need to switch to a nasal mask - the Comfort Lite 2 has been suggested. Has anyone used this, and would you recommend it? Are there any other nasal masks anyone would recommend?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Parents moved from England to The Bahamas where I was born and raised. Spent 15 years in Saskatchewan, Canada; decided the winters were TOO COLD and moved back home.

Pity we can't direct him to the Red FAQ Section where all these manuals are posted. B. Okay, I didn't know the manuals were on the website. I gather the way to get to them is not there now? Is there another way? I would like to be able to access the manual for my machine, as I would like to know ho...

I also live alone. I knew I was a mouth breather because I would often wake up with my mouth open, and I would also wake up with a dry mouth and often a sore throat. I use a full face mask. If you didn't get a full face mask and then you find that you do breathe through your mouth, some people on th...

I would just like to add a couple of points to this discussion. First of all, with regards to Tylenol PM. As said, the sleep ingredient in this medication is diphenhydramine. This is also the active ingredient in Gravol. I had problems with sleeping after a head injury in a car accident. Apparently ...

David, I also suffer from chronic paid and have been trying to find long term solutions after the short term/acute solutions of the heavy duty pain meds you are talking about. You are getting lots of advice, but one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that antidepressants are used for chronic pain; ...

I have the REMstar auto with C-Flex - can I read my data with this machine? If so, where do I get the software? Right now, I go to my sleep doc every few months with my card which he reads, but really doesn't give me any information. I once asked him about whether I could read the data myself and he...
