Wow, not only was my mouth dry from the soyola, I hyperventilated from breathing my own co2. That's why the darn mask is so quiet, it's exhaust is the lowest on the chart. Are you talking about the Soyala nasal or FF? My brother tried the Soyala nasal mask and his ears popped like when he used to d...

My sleep doc tells me that they were given a few Liberty masks for a 1 week trial but he had to return them after 1 night because they had the same problem with air leaking at the swivel elbow/mask joint.

Oldgearhead, My face is fairly long and narrow, the Hybrid works great for me. I read some earlier posts that people with narrow, long faces had trouble getting a good seal with the Hybrid when it was shipping with the old headgear but some of the same people reported success with the new grey headg...

When I called their technical support, they said that the exhaust holes are now optimum for the dead space of the mask since the deadspace on the Hybrid is less than a standard Full Face mask and hence less CO2 build-up. Apparently the holes of the original Hybrid were designed assuming a higher dea...

Five nights now with the Hybrid and I love it more each night. I love the small footprint on my face. I love the comfortable interface and nasal pillows. The headgear is comfortable and holds the mask perfectly. Its a great mask! I can't give any numbers as far as leak rate, but I can tell you that...

Rooster, If you think the deeper sleep is because I'm getting more air into the lungs from breathing with both nose and mouth, do you think a standard Full Face mask like the UMFF, HC431 or for that matter the new Quattro would have the same effect? I read another post that said the Resmed Quattro a...

Why is it that I experience deeper sleep with the Hybrid? My AHI values are similar to what I got with the Swift & chin strap but I feel like I had deeper sleep when I wake up every night I have used he Hybrid.

You can bet if your headgear was old, the shell is the old one, too. The new headgear came out before the new advantage shell. Either way, you got a better mask than anything out there. Jaba, are you saying that the "new shell" is not as good as the "old shell"? So if I ordered one today and got a ...

Nathan, Do you know if the Hybrid you got is the Adaptive Flow version or not? Are you using an AutoPAP and what are your readings? Jim Jim, I don't know what exactly is the Adaptive Flow version but I requested the Hybrid with the smaller exhalation holes. I have the Remstar Auto M Series C-Flex. ...

Initial experience with the Hybrid Mask

Although I got my Hybrid 2 weeks back, I discovered that I got the old black headgear. So, I called customer service and they sent me the new grey headgear. I'm glad I called becoz the new headgear is so much better! So, I've been wearing the Hybrid for the past week. I liked that it comes with all ...
