Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE
I have a BOATLOAD of Nasal Aire II Cannulas in all sizes except XL. Still sorting out exactly what I have in each size. Unused, because I only use the XL. Will trade for XL cannulas, or really just about anything strange, wonderful, or interesting. Got a cool mix CD? Also have a wad here of miscella...

Re: How to check pressure on AirStart?
Thanks!!! I found that link after I posted that, we've deduced that he has an Auto, yay! And now I know his max pressure, so I can reset my Z1 for him. I've also requested the Z1 manuals from Apneaboard. YAY!

How to check pressure on AirStart?
Hi!
My friend has a Resmed AirStart. I think it's this model: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... idair.html
We can't figure out what his pressure is. Anyone know how to figure that out? We flipped through the menus and nothing said "pressure".
Thanks!
Babs

Hi!
Does anyone know how to reset the pressure on a Z1 CPAP? I want to sell mine to a friend, since I bought an Auto Z1.

Re: Zombie pressure
If lower pressure makes you feel like a zombie, I would investigate finding a mask that can handle the higher pressure you clearly need.

Re: Used supplies
Since cpap users are only a small percentage of the population, we are likely to be first to be cut out/down by insurance companies and our employer-negotiated health plans. Maybe adequate cpap coverage is considered "Cadillac" coverage? That would be stupid! Depriving us of this life-saving therap...

Re: Used supplies
I'm with Den. I wash my hose MAYBE twice a year. I've had the same hose on my machine for years. I don't have cats that play with it, it's constantly covered with a snuggy, and it just doesn't get damaged.
Unhealthy? I get maybe one cold a year. Doesn't everyone?
Cheers,

Here is my first post: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14387&p=120823#p120823 Snoredog was my first respondent. He passed away after years of contributions to cpaptalk. Only people who have been here for several years would remember him. It was fun to read the thread and to remember how...

Are you talking about my vast hoard of bras, Chunky? Because those can do double duty as tote bags or slingshots, should the Zombie Apocalypse hit.
It's the truth you speak, Chunky Frog. You must be a Prophet! ALL HAIL CHUNKY FROG!

Re: Used supplies
Or you could have insurance like mine. I just turned in my bill from CPAP.com for reimbursement on a machine, hose, mask, filters, and snuggly. The did not pay a dime for the mask. They paid for the cheap filters. They paid about 25% on the new APAP. So, as you can see, I'm not really getting full s...

Re: Used supplies
The point is, many of us are dependent upon an employer's income and health benefits.
I am just one layoff away from losing all that, and thus I counsel hoarding supplies.

Re: Routing cpap hose around pillow rather than hose buddy?
I've never used a hose hanger. Before I was on the hose, it seemed like the perfect solution. Once I was on it, it seemed redundant. My hose routes over my head, and off the top of the pillow, along the top of the mattress, off the side of the bed to the machine. I do cover my hose with a fleece snu...
