I tried Puresleep and found it filled my mouth so that I mouth breathed too much to use my APAP. The instructions say it is not to be used for sleep apnea. I returned it and they refunded my money. Hope this helps others.

Hey Den, All of the above. I'm a six year user but only found this site a little over a year ago when my wife went on APAP. Because she had problems keeping her AHI down, we got the software and have consulted this Forum EVERY DAY since! You have been a big influence on getting her numbers down and ...

I have used this FFM as backup on occassions and like it very much as far as fit BUT the headgear stretches out easily during the first night and is nearly useless for a second night without tightening everything some more. I can't use it more than two nights in a row because the headgear does not r...

All of the above is correct but I'll add this: If your setting is truly above your prescribed pressure, and if leaks are ocurring as a result, you could be having centrals (which often result in morning headaches), and you will feel drug out all day too. The leaks need to be controled first, then de...

I have used a RemStar Auto "classic" with heated humidifier for over 5 years with no trouble at all and recently purchased a new one with C-Flex from cpap.com. Then purchased another Auto "classic" with C-Flex for my wife from cpap.com but we neither need the C-Flex, the machine is so comfortable. C...

Well, if Phillips does to Respironics what they did to Norelco, better buy now. My new Phillips/Norelco expensive shaver ( not even top of the line ) doesn't shave near as well as my 5 year old one at a fraction of the cost. Of course tough old guys have tough old beards and don't like change anyway.

My wife showed symptoms of Sleep Disordered Breathing/Complex Sleep Apnea while using Hydrocodone for pain. Her apneas and hypopneas were high no matter what pressure she used on her APAP. Centrals were a huge problem as pressure was increased. Low pressures did not lower AHI'S. Her treatment with A...

Most people who think they've lost their sense of taste haven't. They've actually lost their sense of smell. Taste buds recognize only sweet, salty, bitter and sour. It is your nose that smells the flavors of eating. Example- a plugged up nose like when you have a cold prevents one from enjoying fla...
