Thanks, good to know they can be split. Unfortunately it seems as though today's side effect is headache. I've had a mild/moderate headache msot of the day. I suffer from migraines, so headaches will be a deal breaker to taking Provigil if they continue. I didn't feel as though the 200mg worked as m...

I was thinking about that. The pills are 200mg, they have a mark to split them, do you know if I can split them in half. I know some pills aren't supposed to be cut. So far I am feeling a little bit queezy as the day goes on, I've taken some maalox, but only time will tell. It wasn't until 4:30AM th...

yeah, unfortunately, the nausea is a listed side effect, but I figured that I had made it the whole day without a noticable side effect, I was doing well. I will try it again today, and will only re-consider it if the nausea doesn't stop. Especially at 4AM!! However, any other info from people regar...

started Provigil, got another question...
Hi all, sorry I am using this forum to ask others out there about Provigl, but as it is slightly related and I can't seem to find ANY forums on Provigil specifically... question: when side effects hit you, if ever. I took the pill (200mg) at 10:30AM Thursday. Felt pretty good, I described it as thou...

Thanks Rested Gal, yeah, mattress falls into the "usuals" I took about two months to find the right mattress because I knew I couldn't afford to add to my sleep issues by getting another bad one. It was difficult for my brain to wrap itself around how much a decent mattress set costs these days as I...

I too go against the flow about the Breeze. Got it last week because all you side sleepers out there recommended it , and I wore it three nights, trying to make it work and I went back to my Swift, though less comfortable in some ways. Glad I spent the money on it though, because it helped me really...

Thanks for all the great info. Unfortunately, my biggest problem is that I can't get in to see my sleep doc till September, and everyone else just tells me that the reports are sayign that the CPAP is working the way it should. I've gone thru all of the other "usuals" regarding the aches and pains w...

Thanks guys, this helps a lot. The original diagnosis was hypersomnia, which Provigil is the most common med for. The lab refused to keep me for a 24 hour sleep test for it though once I tested "positive" for apnea. Because I had no apnea before I gained weight a year ago, but have been tired for fi...

provigil: daily or as needed?
Hi All, question about provigil below, but some background first... I haven't written in a while because I am actively contemplating jumping off the CPAP wagon. It has been over a month now, three different masks, four if you count Rested Gal's suggested alterations on the Breeze, and I am more tire...

Thanks Lori, "But are you still feeling fatigued?" And when I thought about it, the answer was a huge, "No." There is a difference between the tiredness I was now feeling as opposed to the exhaustion and extreme fatigue and irritability that accompanied it before treatment. But unfortunately for me,...

Not to be the doom-sayer here, but I wanted to make sure another perspective got thru on this thread. I have been using the CPAP for almost two weeks now (so still relatively new) and still want 10-12 hours sleep, am still exhausted all day, every day and feel generally tired physically as well. Oka...

I have only been using mine for a short while now, and you will find MANY other people here who have MANY other pieces of advice, and you should listen to them. However, if this is your first time with this I would recomend going with what the folks bring you at first. Then , take the time to read s...

Okay, okay, I'll tally this list as well! No seriously...I'll wait till we get some more answers. Like mine, for example, I think I'm the first New Englander, well, there were a few who used to live here, but I don't think I recall anyone else still living here, at least who answered the post yet.
