Re: EncorePro 6.22

Thanks for your reply. You are correct. I think I got this version in 2006. I will give it a try and see what happens. It does state on the box that it is compatible with Windows 98SE, 2000, XP or Server 2003. Time marches on.

EncorePro 6.22

Nice to be reading the forum again. I have recently gotten back to my Respironics Auto with Cflex after having used a dental appliance for about 4 years. The software I have for my machine is EncorePro version 6.22. I now have a Mac but am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit on Virtual Box. Can I u...

I have a collection of masks and headgear, all gently used. Can these be donated and, if so, where?

Re: Soyala Nasal Mask Issue

Any word yet on the gel cushion for the Soyala Nasal Mask. If it is available, has anyone tried it. I see it mentioned on their website but haven't seen it advertised for sale here in the U.S.

I had put this under another topic but it was suggested I put it here. My sleep lab loaned me a new Mirage Micro about 2 weeks ago and I really like it. It included the medium and large size, tried both, but am using the medium. It is very comfortable, few leaks, easy to adjust and my AHI has been b...

My sleep lab loaned me a new Mirage Micro about 2 weeks ago and I really like it. It included the medium and large size, tried both, but am using the medium. It is very comfortable, few leaks, easy to adjust and my AHI has been below 2.0 every night, even managed one night with 0.0. YEAH! First time...

In all the literature I've read on getting the shingles vaccine (Zostavax) it seems to say "If you had chicken pox" you are a candidate. I am over 60 but do not know if I had chicken pox or not. If I did not have chicken pox can I still get the vaccine? I even called Merck, and they would not commit...

Remstar Auto w/cflex problem

I have been using a Remstar Auto w/cflex for about 2 years. Last night I had a new problem. The alarm started beeping but I could not turn the machine (airflow) off. When I pushed the off button nothing happened. I unplugged the machine and then restarted it only to have it happen again about an hou...

I am using the Soyala Nasal Mask and my pressure is set at 8. I tape my mouth so I feel like I am not mouth breathing but my leak rate is above what it should be and there are quite a few spikes. My AHI stays under 3 so do I need to worry about the leak rate?

I too have had a twitch in my right eye for several years. The eye doctor kept saying it would go away but after about a year I went to see a neurologist and was diagnosed with something called hemifacial spasm. That will not go away on its own. Botox is one solution for short term relief, however, ...

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought. I have been on CPAP therapy for 2 years now but am still learning lots every day. I do tape my mouth because of mouth leaks. I have the Remstar Auto but right now I am trying it at a constant 8 and seems to be working pretty well.

Optilife vs. soyala nasal

I went to the DME yesterday for a new mask. I am currently using the Mirage Activa and it is working well but thought I would like something a bit smaller. I came home with the Optilife and this morning I checked and I had 0 apneas and .02 hypopneas last night using the Optilife. I have it on a two ...
