Opus 360 leaking with higher pressure
I am using the newer Opus 360 set up. My nasal pillows were always a little leaky and sometimes tended to go up in my nose rather than sitting on the outside and sealing. To be honest the best seal I ever got was when they are up inside my nose and that's not the way they are supposed to work. Recen...

Is there one in Houston?
Hi, saw the original poster was from Houston and I wondered if there is a Sleep Apnea store here? I live in Rosenberg, just down from Sugarland and I'm Houston almost every day. I'd love to visit one of those stores as I'm shopping for a new mask. The store where I have gotten my machine, mask, etc....

Stat Summary question
I hope I'm posting in the correct place. I was diagnosed with sever sleep apnea before going onto a CPAP machine. Out of 60 seconds I was breathing roughly 10 of that. So, here I am now, about 5 months in and was starting to feel like my progress was not getting better. I asked for a scan of the car...

What??
Keeping a rooster? Inside? How does that bolster your confidence? I wouldn't last long around here as I have a few cats and a dog, but if it is a keeps away heart problems I'd get one. A nice fuzzy one, like the ones from china that have fuzz rather than feathers. They are cute. come to think of it ...

I wanted to add that after reading some posts that some suggested going up a size to cure the leak problem. I tried that as well. But the large nostril prongs were so big I couldn't even get them in my nostrils. Rested Gal, can you tell me are there any fixes for the Opus? I read all about Aura and ...

help I'm getting gorilla nostrils
I've been using a nasal prong mask and I have found that the small is too small and the medium is maybe too big. Worse, because the nasal prongs wiggle around when I move, they often come out of my nose and start blowing on my face. To keep this from happening I tighten up the harness and then I get...

Tips to clean your humidifier
Just found this out and wanted to pass this along to others: Ever get that scum in your humidifier? If yours is like mine, you can't get it open to really scrub it out. So what do you do? 1. If you empty it out every day and allow it to dry then you probably can avoid this problem. This works even b...

I voted
I voted but I would say the only doctors that have given up on me were doctors who truly didn't want to work with a patient who they couldn't fix in 1 or 2 visits. I don't want to come off as another 'crazy female' but you wouldn't believe the number of times I was told the problem was all in my hea...

I understand
I have had the same problem with masks. I find one that worked well for a few days but then didn't. The mask I have pictured is not the mask I actually have. I have the older model, the one that goes over your head. I have troubles still with the air leaking from around the nasal seals. I wear the m...

Respiration holes with masks
I wanted to know if anyone else has had the idea of asking manufacturers to see about putting the breathing (respiration) holes further from the business end of our masks? I say this because I've noticed that it is those little holes designed for respiration that are a cause of whistling. I wondered...

My cartoon of Mask Problems
http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh216/catfuraplenty/Bobfinallygetshismasktofit.jpg I had such a time trying to get my mask to fit and finally I found one that pretty much does the trick, until I try to sit up and forget I have it on and it yanks my head back by the nostrils. OUCH. Hope you like ...

Just tried Clear last night, liked it.
Hi there, I just tried out my new trial package and I agree with some posts that say a trial package for $19.95 would probably sell better. If you want to include all three scents you could make them smaller bottles in order to increase your profit and still give a good chance to try 3 scents. Some ...

Got a new mask that works great for me, but...
Hey, I know what you mean about the pressure deal. I just started sleeping with a new Opus nasal pillow mask and I like it. I really like it. It took a bit of getting used to because of these two things at the ends of my nose but it didn't bother me nearly as much as I expected and there's no noise....

Valerian Pills?
Hi all, I've been trying Valerian (an herbal suppliment) to help me get to sleep. The stuff smells horrible but at least it doesn't have a taste in pill form. Thus far, I haven't noticed much. I wondered if any of you had tried this? I was on ambien but it is so difficult for me to start and stop us...
