Best Mask For Active Sleeper
Because I'm Obese I find that I wake up several time a night because of pressure point discomfort and need to move from back/right/left. (I have a memory foam type bed and it's better with the pressure points than my past regular style mattresses) Anyway, wondering if there are other active sleepers...

Headrest Devotee's
I've been using the Headrest mask for years and now that it's gone I'm looking for a new mask.
I'm curious as to what most headrest devotee's ended up switching to.

Re: Feel Like I'm Suffocating
I'm not sure how to respond because truthfully, I think there is something wrong if you are still feeling you are suffocating after all this time. In the beginning, I had a hard time, and even felt like i wasn't getting enough air,and struggled with that .... instead of just ignoring the machine and...

Re: OT: anyone medicated for fibromyalgia?
Well, I have to say I haven't been officially diagnosed with fibro, but I have a feeling I have it, and that I'm not alone in not having been diagnosed. I do know, that as someone who has struggled with Depression... when I took Celexa... my pain practically disappeared.... however, at 40+ , for 5 m...

The condensation could not travel that far uphill. Janna I think right there is likely the key... at least it has been for me. While I have the hose over my head so I can turn from side to side, keeping the MACHINE down below bed level (the sharper the angle the better), makes it more difficult and...

we are NOT talking about gas here, Very good point, but, at least in my example, the gas and air are also conflated. In dogs, there are theories that if they are "gulpers" when they eat their food, the air gets into their stomach and causes the bloat and eventual torsion. I HONESTLY don't know anyt...

Actually, as a person who owns a particular dog breed where "gas and torsion" are a concern... I have to wonder .... (gas and torsion ,.... where the dog's stomach fills up with gas and then twists... eventually killing them if not caught in time) Is this something we should have to worry about ... ...

tnt > Why is it that SOME Doctors manage to find the time for you Because they are the good ones. They exist but are hard to find. Keep looking. The others are not. When they look at you, all they see is "dollars divided by time". And their goal is to maximize the quotient. True. I guess my point i...

Thanks. Right now, the best I can do is not tape up and I pull the mask partially off during the coughing fit and put it back on. I'm awaking A LOT during the night, but it's the best I can do. I guess I'll just have to tough it out. I did use some of my husband's cough syrup with codine in it one n...

You might want to try a nasal rinse before bed. Get those sinuses cleaned out well to keep the air from pushing all the mucous into your throat. I also keep a FF mask for times like this. I have found that the pur sleep clear helps ALOT when I'm all congested. Brenda Thanks Brenda. The congestion i...

Bad cough and cold
I'm finding it almost impossible to use CPAP with a REALLY bad cold and cough I have at the moment. Doesn't matter what humidity setting I have it set at, and my filters are clean and fresh. or which mask I use. (Nasal or Pillows) But the therapy seems to TRIGGER my coughing. It starts a little tick...

Re: WARNING!!!
I have been suffering from a cough and chest infection for over a month, both my internist and sleep doctor think that it might have been caused by not cleaning my hose on a daily basis. They say that because the hose does not have the opportunity to dry out during the day it is a prime place for m...
