Hi, Linda,
We are also motorhomers and we use the 12 volt cables from Respironics when we are dry camping. What machine do you use? Is it a 12v machine with an inverter to make is use 120v? If so, I'd investigate the 12v power cable options from your manufacturer.

Re: Have raw data on disc + viewer, now what?
Muffy, I'm working on getting it set up...the folder does contain the video in multiple .avi clips. But I'm not sure which files are needed, though. Here are the options: Header.dat (5kb) Histogram.slp (187kb) Logfile.mdb (2,216kb) logfile.qqq (1kb) logfile.tfn (877kb) O_J_060210_2003.xml (3kb) reco...

Re: Have raw data on disc + viewer, now what?
Sorry I wasn't clear...the sleep lab included a viewer program on the disc with the data. I don't really know what it all means....
In another thread, Muffy asked if I could get the data file. So I'm hoping she'll chime in here.
Thanks,
CG

So if he gets off on the contempt charge, maybe they could charge him with negligence of a medical device for allowing the nostril to be block (!?!) and the filter dirty.....

Re: I found my holy grail! I'll give away the rest.
I'm glad you have a great mask for you. Just a note for people with long narrow faces who might want to try the FitLife...I don't think it will work for you. I've tried it and the Hans Rudolph which are similar. It seems to work well for people with rounder faces. I've found the FlexiFit 432 to work...

Re: should minimum pressure be at the 90th percentile?
My OSA was well controlled for a long time with my minimum set 2-3 cm below my 90%. 90% just means you spent 90% of your night at or below this pressure. If I only needed 10 minutes at the higher pressure, there was no point in spending the entire night there. This was with my sleep doc's approval a...

Re: Help with data interpretation, please
Thanks for the replies. I'm beginning to get the idea that my most recent sleep study was not all that helpful because I did not get to REM and because they did not control my obstructive events. Is that a fair observation? Muffy, yes, I am planning to ask for the raw data. I assume that it's part o...

Re: Help with data interpretation, please
You definitely have some interesting data there. Sounds very much liike the reports I have received, only much worse. If you are new to xPAP, some pressure-induced centrals are normal. But you are having a high rate of centrals without xPAP. I also see a significant amount of periodic breathing in ...

Re: Help with data interpretation, please
Thanks, John. I will ask about ST and servo technology and whether or not they had it at the sleep center.
I think my doc is pretty smart, but maybe I need a second opinion....
Thanks again,

Help with data interpretation, please
So I got my sleep study report, but haven't gotten to see the doc yet...help with understanding would be most appreciated. I know what most of these means as single items, but I'm having a bit of trouble putting it all together. Maybe it's the Sleep Apnea fog... Slept for 312.5 min. of 474 min. reco...

Re: Question about AHI and pressure increase....
I think your AHI is just fine. Masks have an "expected leak," which takes into account the amount of air that is released so that you don't asphyxiate. You should be able to find the expected leak information in the documentation that came with your mask. A large leak is much higher than the expecte...

Re: CPAP use when flying
do you really need a CPAP? most of snore less when sitting up Well, I don't snore and others don't as well...so that's not really an issue for some of us. Since I don't sleep deeply or well when flying, I didn't bother to try to use my xPAP when I flew overnight a few weeks ago. For me, that's real...
