Re: Location of Replacement Parts in Colorado
Sleep Central is Rotech's name for their supplies outlet. If you use them, they are Rotech. I have used many DMEs since 2008. Some were great, some weren't. I have been pretty satisfied with Rotech and Sleep Central overall. Medicare has a lot to say about who provides your equipment and supplies an...

Not knowing how broken it is, Duct tape might help.

Re: Replaced my 4yr 10 months old Curve Auto with another
I didn't think this posted. it was an unfinished post I decided to not post. The rest of the story is, I contacted my sleep doctor's office and told them what happened. My machine was a couple of months shy of 5 years old and we weren't sure if medicare woul let me get a new on until January. She wr...

Replaced my 4yr 10 months old Curve Auto with another
In August my Trusty VCurve 10 Auto started going haywire. For no reason pressures would climb to max and I had tremendous mouth leakage. Swapped over to my Backup V10

Re: Looks like I may be needing supplemantal o2
First, I don't like doing business with DMEs. The Oxygen Concentrator Store had good online reviews. They had a Labor Day nsale that seemed good. The person I talked to was knowledgeable and seemed to be helpful. They are located in Denver, only 350 miles away instead of Florida or NYC. She promised...

Re: Looks like I may be needing supplemantal o2
I went ahead and got an inogen g5 from Oxygen Concentrator Store. So far they seem OK and haven't made me angry. The O2 seems to be helping me get around without as much instant fatigue. The machine seems good also.

Looks like I may be needing supplemantal o2
It is looking like I may need to use supplemental O2 while exerting. Does anyone have good information on Portable O2 concentrators and who is good to deal with?
Thanks

Re: Eligible for a New Machine-My Dilemma
The deal breaker for me on the aircurve 11 is the fact that there is no heated hose with oxygen connection available like the ClimateLineAir Oxy for the AC10.

Re: Nursing Home, Sister in Law needs help!
Her doctor has provided all information asked for. I really think the problem is that she has been over prescrobed and that Humana doesn't want to pay for that. I was just told that she will need to do a sleep test at a hospital since she is so immobile. Stuff just takes time when dealing with the u...

Re: Nursing Home, Sister in Law needs help!
Thanks, we are constantly on the phone with Humana and fighting the battle. I am just worried that it might take too long and am pursuing an alternative route because I am not going to let her die.

Nursing Home, Sister in Law needs help!
My sister in law is living in a nursing home. She is incapable of walking and is so obese that they use a lift to take her out of bed for a shower. Last year she was hospitalized for extremely low SPo2 levels. She spent a week in ICU on a Trilogy machine that allowed her to get much better. The hosp...

Re: How can I convince my dad to get tested for OSA
I worked as an operator in power plants. We worked rotating 8 hr shifts rotating weekly. I always thought I was tired because of my work. I retired in 2002 due to Myasthenia Gravis. Funny thing I never was able to get good sleep and I was still always tired. Finally in 2008 my doctor had me do an ov...
