Re: ResMed Airsense Auto 11
The humidity in your home may have some bearing on water use, as well; but it is true that reviewers are not always as observant as we think. Thank you, good point. I typically use a lower humidity setting since I added a humidifier to my furnace..so I should be fine. I don't mind changing water da...

Re: ResMed Airsense Auto 11
OSCAR, the de facto standard software for CPAP self-managers works on the Air11, as it does on the Air10. Many still prefer the Air10, but the Air11 is proving itself to be sold. Some common issues reported, but not sure how prevalent: Not all Air11 supplies and accessories are available or readily...

Im planning a new machine as my ResMed Airsense 10 is fizzling out after 8 years of use. I'm a Slinky influenced ResMed kinda person. What is good and not so good about the ResMed Airsense Auto 11? is there software I can get to monitor myself clinically available? Thanks for your input, much apprec...

Re: Central Apnea
What is your AHI, and what are obstructive, central, hyponea? Are you monitoring with software? Are the centrals spread out through the night, in clusters, or at times when you might have been awake? I've used my new machine 24 days. My AHI is .09 Central is .04. The Centrals are both in clusters a...

Re: Central Apnea
What the machine calls central events, may not be exactly that. In the lab, centrals are detected using multiple sensors, including leads for brain waves. Lacking that, sometimes other things are reported as centrals. If you are changing sleep stage or even position, you may unconsciously hold your...

Central Apnea
Since getting my new machine Airsense for her, the majority of my apneas are central. During my sleep study no central apneas were identified...my previous machine did not recognize central apneas. I had mostly hypo apneas then. Not sure what to make of this and wondering if anyone else has experien...

Re: Curosity: Machine, Insurance and Compliance
Something to keep in mind, regarding those out of pocket copays. If you play on the insurance company's terms with a local DME, all of those copays you make toward their lease to own program are applying toward your insurance out of pocket maximum for the year. I had a 13 month lease to own program...

Re: Curosity: Machine, Insurance and Compliance
Insurance companies are not stupid... One would hope so, but there's always room to question???? Are you certain about this??? If you are calculating a percentage of what they told you the monthly retail rental price was (assuming your insurance will pay the rest) you might not be calculating corre...
