I tried a zillion masks at my study Friday night and I loved the Hybrid. But my insurance won't pay for another mask for several more months. Anyone have one that maybe they tried and didn't like? I'll buy it or trade for one of mine. There are none on the auction site.

I have my second CPAP study tonight, the first one several months back showed inconclusive results because I never went into REM sleep, barely even closed my eyes the whole night! So this time they want me to take an Ambien or Ativan at bedtime so I will actually sleep through. My question is this.....

I'm going to get yet another mask this month and I would like another nasal mask, not a pillow mask, but one that covers the nose. I have the Flexi Fit 406 which I like a lot, but it's just a bit short for my nose. I may try the 407, but that one was a bit too wide when I had tried it originally. Ju...

I'm just wondering, does anyone tape their mouth and NOT use a chin strap? If the taping helps, can the chin strap be redundant? I use both when I use my nasal pillows or mask, just because the chin strap helps keep my cheeks closed and I don't get blowfish face so much.

Once again, I must be missing something. I've spoken at length with my RT and SC about dreaming and both said that remembering my dreams, or even that I had dreamt at all, meant that I was waking during REM, thus cutting short a full sleep cycle, and that's not a good thing.
